We recently moved out to the country and having never had a well or septic system we needed some help with figuring out the water softener and filtration system that came with the house. I called and dealt with other companies (Kinetico, Culligan), got some outrageous quotes for re-doing the system (7K-10K) and after talking to our mortgage broker (who also owns a house in the country with same setup), I was given the number to these guys. Wow, what a breath of fresh air. Kris and Jake are brothers who are working together in this family-run company that's been in business for over 33 years and their knowledge, professionalism and just plain down-to-earth demeanor sold me almost immediately. They came out, gave me a quick idea of what needed to be done and then came back with a price that was not cheap, but nowhere near what everybody else was talking. They both came out and installed the system themselves (took about 3-4 hours), and did a really fantastic job of explaining what they were doing and why. These guys are not fly-by-nighters looking to move on to the next big job, they want you as a customer for life and it shows.
