Dear Dan and Chris I am not an unreasonable customer. I called in to address your company taking advantage of my 70 year old mom. Your company convinced my mom that to do a 1 hr job to install a faucet it would cost $421.00. + she could go to Fergusons and buy her faucet herself which cost her an additional $279.00 because they are more a wholesaseller as you know. Again i do not feel i am unreasonable and I understand making a profit however there is a difference between making a profit and taking advantage of people. In all my mom spent $700 to replace her faucet in which h I had to help her with because they are on SSI. Of course a call back with an adjustment would be greatly appreciated as I have never heard of someone paying this for a 1 hr job. I would hope to hear back from either of you of course. Thank you.

I was very disappointed with Mr Rooter, they repaired a water heater back in November charged me $400 for the repair. Two months later it quit working again, the service tech replaced another element and charged me over $100, the next day it was still not working, and the tech refused to come back without charging another service charge, and insisted we had to replace the water heater at a cost of $2100. I thought this was highway robbery, I checked the water heater that night when I got home and the tech had left a wire loose???Huh, honest mistake maybe. These guys are not trustworthy in my book and I will never use them again.

Had a large project for them in replacing an old water heater in the basement of a home I just purchased, plus replacing the piping, and installing a loop on 3rd floor bathroom for instant hot water. They did show up on time and performed all the work agreed to. That was 2/27. 3 days later (3/1), I find a steady leak on the 3rd floor under the sink where the loop was installed. It had been leaking since installation. Called in to have after hours guy come out and he stopped the leak, but didn?t have a replacement part and I couldn?t use my bathroom sink. The part was replaced Monday night (3/4). The problem was solved. 4 days later at night.... I find a much larger water leak in the basement from the tank. Again, they sent someone out (Chris, who installed it the first time), and I had to take half a day off work the next morning so they could completely rip out this new $2500 water tank and put in another new one. Problem solved now, right? Wrong. It?s 3/11 and I found yet another water leak from this second brand new $2500 tank. I get a call from the on call guy who isn?t qualified/certified/licensed/whatever to even look at it. So I?m now waiting yet again at night for someone to get out here and fix this stupid thing. And I bought the 3 year MEMBERSHIP with them!!! Membership definitely not worth it as I don?t want them back in my house after they get around to fixing this current problem. $4k job and 3 water leaks in 2 weeks. Beyond unacceptable and the customer service is not good at this point either. Skip these guys and find another to do the work.

Before starting the job he explained exactly what was needed to accomplish the task. The job was completed before the time estimated. The work space was cleaned up immediately.
