Wonderful local family business! I'm a detail person and I love things done really well. I'm still amazed every time I look at our floors. D'Angelos Wood Floors is seriously amazing. The new floor matches the old original floor perfectly. He worked so hard. His attention to detail is beyond measure. Al and his sons were great. I highly recommend D'Angelos.

Al told me what I wanted to hear because he wanted the money. I had to call back a couple times because I found items that weren't done properly or done sloppily (ex: board cracked in kitchen and worker filled it all in with their putty instead of simply replacing the board. Called Al and he gave me a hard time, but eventually did come out himself and replace the board). My mother-in-law was talking to him while we were inspecting the house and he was badmouthing us to her talking about how dumb it was to do this, it removed the "rustic" appeal (it was hideously discolored and rough), and how he just put the floors in a few years prior. Do not hire this man. He is unprofessional, does as little as possible, will tell you exactly what you want to hear so that he gets paid, and will badmouth you to other people if he doesn't agree with it.

I chose D'Angelos to refinish my hardwood floors because of the many great recommendations from my neighbors in the Rockwood area in Spokane. I was extremely pleased with their quality of work and their work ethic. I was one of those "difficult" clients who requested and required over and above what you would expect, and they met those demands with a friendly and cooperative attitude that I rarely encounter. Their total bill was very reasonable! I HIGHLY recommend D'Angelos.

Our  floors were put in (partly) April 2016. It is August 2016 they still are NOT completed. Al, the owner, is a master craftsman, but he seems to get to a point where he gets tired of doing the job and just says he will come back to finish and he might show up to reassure he's coming back but never does. At least so far...Eventually, if I call him and call him. His excuse is he is so busy. And yes, he has lots of clients but he needs to finish one job, completely, before going to the next.

If you have the time he is a real woodworker. A craftsman. It will look good but don't pay him until you check every single last detail. I mean every detail. For example: missed floor filling, glue stuck on floor, areas that around the baseboard were not filled in correctly etc. I could go on and on.

I am still waiting for my stairs to be completed... It is August 2016...remember I told you he started the job in April 2016!

Would absolutely not recommend this company. The owner said he'd come on a Thursday. Sat home all day Thurs. and Fri. .and on Mon. he said he was too busy Thurs. and Fri.--extremely unreliable. His worker came to refinish some window sills. When I told the worker he hadn't done the window sills in the living room, he said it wasn't on the work order. And on top of all of this the work was shoddy The floor had gouges in it.

This company was personable and Reuben the carpenter is simply exceptional. He showed up every day on time and worked so hard to complete our floors flawlessly. Wouldn't want anyone to do my floors again, but D'Angelos.
