It took a little while to get a bid for the work (hence the "B" for punctuality)... I was starting think it was going to be a no-bid. However, the bid came in lowest and was very detailed and transparent, something I appreciate. The actual work took a few days, which seemed reasonable. Once we accepted the bid Comen was able to schedule the work within a week. The excavation went smoothly except for a small section of rock that needed to be cut/chipped away. But no additional charge was added to the overall cost though the bid included a rock clause. They seemed to be conscientious, doing a nice job of avoiding damage to landscaping and sprinkler lines, and laying the pipe and placing clean-outs. I was very impressed with the finish work! They spent two days on back-filling and grading/raking, and completely cleaning up trees/limbs that needed to be removed to create clearance for the trenching equipment. The went above and beyond my expectations, treating the work site as if it was their own property. Very happy with the job well done!
