About us
AAmerican Cleaning Bob's has been cleaning carpet, upholstery & area rugs in Spokane since 1948. We added carpet restretching, repairs, cleaning of window treatments, hardwood floors, tile/stone floors, tile counter tops and showers. We are certified by "Dupont" to offer the 15 year warranty for the sealing of new (select) stone countertops. We have Spokane City and Spokane Valley business licenses and are also registered general contractors (aamercb930dt). Kathie Sculley-Scott has owned the business for the last 35 years. We have been an IICRC/Clean Trust Certified Firm since 1981. Kathie and Rob, our Sr. Technician, are both IICRC Master Cleaners. Belinda, our office manager and happy voice you will hear when you call our office. Our business is referred by many of Spokane's finest carpet and furniture stores in addition to happy clients. This is the third time that I have used this service. The service man shows up promptly, is courteous, does the work and leaves. Last year, I had a stain that did not come out to my satisfaction the first time (strawberry smoothie on white rug!), they returned and shampooed again. Voila, the stain was gone! There was no added cost for this return visit. I will continue to use them, usually annually!

A American Cleaning Bob's Rob Cartwright responded promptly to our call and arrived quickly to give us an estimate. The company's main focus is on carpet and upholstery cleaning, but they also do re-installation. The estimate, which included quality padding, and cleaning after installation, was reasonable and we were impressed with Rob's professionalism. That's understandable in retrospect, as he has been with the company since 1991 and holds a “Master Textile Cleaner” Certification, according to the company's website. He arrived on time for the installation, completed the re-installation efficiently, and left the carpet looking cleaner than it ever had. We were very pleased. We will certainly hire A American Cleaning Bobs the next time we need carpet work done.

Rob & his assistance arrived on time and worked nearly 3 hours cleaning the wall to wall carpeting, bumper rail & moving furniture. Rob tried to keep the finest door brush ar possible, he also gave special attention to places where kitty had sprayed.

From the front office staff who answered the phone & scheduled the estimate, to the final cleaning, everyone was professional & courteous. Rob showed up on time for both the estimate & the cleaning & was very efficient. Ut is so nice to find a company that performs exceptionally!

Rob was on time & was so professional. He figured out a way to fix an area that required re-stretching by cutting the seam & then cutting the excess - he did a fantastic job & I can't tell where it was repaired. He then cleaned the carpets & they turned out looking like new. I was very satisfied with the service performed.
