Pipe Guys

In our experience, the Pipe Guys were unprofessional and did not communicate well, and it ultimately cost us more money on our project. The PipeGuys started work on the agreed-upon date in our contract, but before a permit to do the work was on file, so the City charged an early start fee. It was the responsibility of The Pipe Guys to make sure there is a permit on file before they started work. However, the Pipe Guys refused to take responsibility for starting work without a permit. We tried to solve the issue internally but got some pretty rude feedback from the owner, which included bringing up non-issues and deliberate mischaracterizations of the matter to distract from the fact that they started work without a permit. On the Pipe Guys actual work, they did an adequate job. BUT, if you expect to hire a company that both does quality work and is competent, ThePipe Guys may not be for you. If you do hire them, be prepared to have unclear (and even rude) communication and double (triple!) check anything they tell you with the City since they either do not know the regulations or don't consistently care to follow them and then put the onus on the homeowner.

Great. I would highly recommend them. I thought that they were communicative. They were prompt. The both working in the office and the one that did the work were very customer service orriented. They left the place looking good and clean. I appreciated that.

They were outstanding. We had a problem with our sewer line. We brought out another provider and that provider was high pressure. They gave me a partial bid that was really high and tried to pressure me into making a decision right then. I told them I was going to get another estimate. I contacting my plumber but he doesn't do this work. He recommended the pipe guys and, oh my goodness, their estimate was several thousand less. They found that there was actually a crushed pipe. Had we gone with the other provider it would have cost several thousand more. Their initial was $13,000 and it would cost about 50% more. The Pipe Guys initial estimate was $4500 but because the pipe had collapsed they had to do extra work and and go into the street so it cost about $10,000 but that was less than the initial estimate from the other provider. Their initial estimate only went to where the Pipe guys $4500 estimate went. The Pipe Guys were so good. They were so professional and I can't speak highly enough of The Pipe guys. They were so good. I would absolutely use them again and I've referred them.

It went very well considers all the potentiissues.N o complaints from us .just the mess we have is  unnecessary due to city rules.All equipment came in with no problem.
