When I called them they could not come out for at least 2 weeks or pay the higher after hours rate. They sent someone after 2 weeks and told me that the trip charge and diagnosis would be $189.00 The rep could not find or re-create the problem. Rep said everything looked fine and talking to tech support and charged me $295.00. Will never use them again for anything!

I had to call them everyday to see if they were going to come. I did not know when they were going to finish. Even when they would take lunch they would not come back for hours. I was not very happy with the installation or their professionalism.

It was pretty rough. The workers seemed to be a significantly incompetent, yet they were under so much pressure and so understaffed that they had to come back at night to fix the things they had done incorrectly. They would be working at our home, but would then receive another call and have to leave mid-job. We found out within a week or two that they had gone bankrupt, so now our warranty is useless.

I took a day off work for a job that was supposed to take three hrs. The installer couldn't finish the job. He said he would be back at 8 am the next morning so I took another day off work. He didn't show up. I called the office. They informed me that he called in sick and he never told them he hadn't finished the job. They told me they weren't sure when they could get to my house because all the installers were on other jobs. I informed them I could not afford to take a third day off work and since I was stupid enough to give him a check i'll be smart enough to put a stop payment on it (and I did). I told them if they did not show up that day I would hire someone different to complete the install of they're furnace and we'll settle it in court. 2hrs latter they were at my house.
The two people that came to my house were fast, professional and honest. I asked them why were they taking pictures and why they had to pull so many parts out to finish a job that was almost done. They told me the first installer installed it wrong. They were very apologetic and embarrassed about the first installers conduct and what I had to go through.
I called the office and informed them that I did not get the coupon price that was advertised in the local phone book. That cost me an extra $200 dollars. I also didn't get the free duct cleaning that was also offered in that same add. The add expires 04/2014. The office told me they weren't responsible for what was left out of the contract the first installer wrote. I was so exhausted by this time I decided not to pursue the matter any further. I made several mistakes with this company because I was in a hurry to get the job done and didn't listen to my inner voice screaming at me RECOGNISE THE RED FLAGS WAVING WILDLY IN YOUR FACE!!! This guy ripped apart my old furnace and told me he couldn't legally reinstall it because it would leak gas. Now I am left wondering if all I needed was some inexpensive part replaced instead of the hole furnace. The worst part of all, I have to trust this company to do a yearly maintenance check to keep the warranty active. Hope I don't have to find out that's not worth the paper it's written on.
After reading this, if there's any reason you would even think abut inviting this company to your house, than you'll be just as dumb as I was.

They came out and were unable to diagnose the problem because they were not qualified to check the propane coming into the insert. They started guessing about the problem. They ended up telling me I needed a new fuel valve. I ordered it and they came to install it and the billed me. Once the change was made, the fireplace still did not work. At that point, they told me it was an issue with my tank. I had to call a second specialist to come check the tank, and they told me that everything was fine. Day and Night took the insert back to their shop. They called me a week and a half later telling me that there was nothing they could do. He left me a message telling me to come get the bill. I went to their office, and the girl told me that they would refund me. They never contacted me. I found a second service person who only charged me $100 to fix a loose wire. I called Day and Night again to get a refund and they said ok. To this day, I still have not gotten a refund.

Turns out that our sewer line was clogged due to tree roots. HE came out that day and were able to snake the line and the serviceman was very good.

I WAS REALLY UPSET ON HOW THEY CAME OUT HERE AND SAID THE HEATER WON'T WORK AND WE ALREADY KNEW THAT. WE SPENT A WHOLE NIGHT IN THE COLD AND WERE CHARGED AN OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT.
