Curtis was just as professional this time as he always is. He's the only electrician whom we'll use. I have had him wire two new houses, and he has worked on a few remodels I have done. He's top notch. One of Curtis's great strengths is that he always asks WHY. This is essential for economy, safety, and peace of mind. Many electricians do not ask why enough!
Curtis was cheerful, fun to work with, funny, and serious about his work at the same time. He got a lot done for us in a short time and we are fully confident that his work was correctly done. Curtis is very clear in his knowledge of the electrical code - and he carries more of this knowledge with him than other electricians I have worked with in the past.
Again, he's the only electrician we'll use.

Our overall experience from start to finish with CST Electric was terrific!  Curtis came to our home soon after I requested a quote.  He was professional on the phone as well as in person.  The day of the estimate and the day he performed the work, he wore protective shoe coverings in order to keep the floors in our home clean.  He needed to look in the attic to assess the part of the job of installing the electrical connection for the fan.  In doing so, he helped me drape a cloth in the closet to protect our clothes from any loose insulation that would fall from accessing the attic space.  He offered suggestions on how/where we could locate the ceiling fan in our bedroom for maximum benefit.  He inspected the fan and wiring to ensure he knew if anything special needed to be addressed before the install.  He was very good about advising me of any issues that could come up during the job and he assured me that these instances were few and far between; the job would most likely be easy and routine. The day he arrived to install the fan he was ontime.  He installed the electrical connection in the ceiling, a new switch on the wall, and assembled and installed the fan.  Once the fan was up, he made adjustments to ensure it functioned quietly.  He thought of all the details.  He did the job as if it were in his own home.  He cleaned up after completing the job.  It was as if the fan had always been there and no work had been done!  We have since called CST Electric about a couple other jobs we are assessing for our home; no hesitation in using them again.  We have and will recommend CST Electric to other people.

Curtis is great to work with.  He arrived promptly for both the estimate and the work itself.  He is professional, takes care to not leave any mess behind and does high quality worked.  I particularly appreciated that Curtis kept me up to date during the process and took the time to go over what he was doing.

Curtis arrived on time and appeared to be very knowledgeable.  He took his time and gave us options.  His work is steller.  He cleaned up nicely after himself and always wore booties when coming inside our hose.  He was very professional.

Also gave me some great advise and answered even more questions about electric issues in general. Curtis came out on a Saturday after I told him we were desperate!  He was on-time, efficient, knowledgeable and politie.  He completed the job quickly and spent extra time double-checking and looking at clothes dryer.  Curtis also gave us an estimate on the installation of fans and an outlet in the garage.  We will proceed with this work when finances permit!

WOW! What a professional. He answered my phone call and scheduled an estimate within a week. He did warn me from the beginning that he was booked for about 4 weeks. He likes to work on job at a time. He sent me a detailed estimate within 2 days via email. I received a contract to sign via mail within 2 days after we agreed to the work. He phoned me the night before our appointment as a courteous reminder. He was early ( a few minutes ) as he was for our estimate appointment. He did a lot of attic crawling. It is not a very neat thing to crawl around insulation and you would never know he was even there! He vacuumed and cleaned everything as he found it. He did not damage the drywall, which I expected with the type of work he was doing. I have a few nicks of paint touch up and that's it! He estimated the job at 9 hrs and was complete in 8 hrs 15 mins. I liked him so much he's coming back next week for another estimate.

Curtis did a clean and professional job, completing all of the work as we had discussed within a day. I had been concerned initially because his bid was one of the lowest that we had received, but went ahead with him anyway after reading great reviews on Angie's. My experience confirms the great reviews by other users. After the job, there was a problem with one of the switches, which Curtis came by to fix right away. Overall, a great experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Curtis was very thorough and professional and courteous. He was unable to find a problem in the house though he did say that perhaps another electrician might have some more expensive diagnostic equipment that could be utilized to further investigate our problem. He did make some suggestions that might be done down the road and even went the extra mile and called back later in the afternoon with some other ideas. He gave great service and certainly didn't overcharge me; in fact, I thought that he undercharged for what he did.

Curtis got the jobs because he knew the electrical code better that the other bidders. He handled every problem from start to finish with professionalism. He is a very good communicator, keeping in touch by telephone whenever anything, large or small, needs to be discussed. He will not overcharge when he supplies materials. One day, Curtis borrowed a drill bit from me to operate his hole saw, since his own drill bit had broken. I was surprised a day or two later when he gave me a new drill bit because he had put some wear on mine! Curtis has now become one of the few contractors (going back 20 years) I trust completely. He has extreemely high integrity which I value as highly as his skill at electrical work. March 4, 2011 Curtis continues to do great work at a fair price, is punctual and completely trustworthy. I just wish that I had more work for him to do.

Excellent service and customer experience end-to-end, I am very pleased with the quality of service provided, the responseness and strong communications, and the level of ownership Curtis took with the project to coordinate all the moving parts - City of Redmond, Power Company, etc. Curtis responded to my request for an estimate immediately and within 24 hrs I had what I thought was a very detailed estimate with a good price. We scheduled the work and Curtis came out almost immediately to get things underway. He was very comfortable working with all the equipment I had already purchased, and in general had a great, "let's make this work for you" attitude. It was important to me that I not have to get involved in trying to coordinate the different partners in the project (CIty of Redmond, Power Company) and Curtis exceeded the hopes and expectations I had on that front by managing all aspects of the coordination. The project was delivered on time, on budget, with no surprises, and I came away feeling really positive about the work with CST and would defintely hire them again.

The first day Curtis came here, he was actually early. I appreciated this so much as the septic company was always late, if they showed up at all. From the beginning, Curtiss never said: I don't know this system, so I can't work on it. He said, I have never worked on such a system, but I will research it. He did. And the part of the system that is electrical works for the first time in a year. Now, he is working another part of the system that is electrical and not done right. This guy is a miracle. He is professional, friendly, and really puts in the extra effort. He knows the people to contact to find out the things that he does not know. I could not be happier with this guy.

Wow! What a great contractor, professional, fast, efficient and prompt, they really don't get any better than this company. If I ever have more electrical issues this is the company I would call, no need to look elsewhere. I have had issues with contractors in the past, not here, can't say enough positive about Curtis and CST Electric.

Bottom line: This is the guy you want to hire. He came in gave us an estimate that was $500 dollars lower than the next closest estimate. Did all the work in the time that he said he would. Very Professional and courteous. Great attention to detail. If you hire Curtis you will not be disappointed.

Showed up on time, neat, clean, professional, well-spoken and competent. He went right to work, diagnosed the problem and had the job done in an hour. Outstanding young man trying to make it on his own HIRE CURTIS! He's so good, I've lined him up for three more jobs.

Curtis showed up and did an estimate for the job, and described in detail what the problems were. He emailed me an estimate that afternoon, and I accepted it. We scheduled an appointment; he showed up on time and with everything he needed to get the job done. He did not have to leave to go to the store on my dime (like the last plumber I hired did). The plumber was not from Angie's List, by the way. He also pointed another electrical problem/code violation we had while we were outside looking at my generator. Curtis is very friendly and professional. I will certainly hire him again.

I first called CST upgrade my meter box and circuit, called for his service again when my microwave needed to be placed on a separate line to the box. He completed work for me on 9/4/09, again installing new reset lights in my kitchen and installing a sensor outside light. Curtis is very skillful and friendly. He will go out of his way to do a follow-up call to be sure everything is working properly and that one is satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work (whether the project is small or large) they will get the same service.

Curtis was very professional and friendly in discussing the work he was performing. He called later in the evening to check up to see if the lights had turned on at dark. And of course the lights were on, I'm very pleased with his work and would use him again.

I had lost electricity in my living room and he had found the problem and fixed it. He was very professional, very thorough, and had explained things to me well. He had done a very good job and the price was quite reasonable too. He had come in on the same day that I had called.

Wonderful! Quick, efficient trouble shooting and repair for a nominal cost ($80 for service call, troubleshooting, and outlet repair.) Same morning service as initial call. I paid a horrendous bill to another company for the same kind of service, so I really appreciate finding a fair and square outfit.

He quoted a minimum charge of $100 for the first hour plus more if that time was exceeded. Curtis arrived promptly as agreed, worked quickly and was finished in 30 minutes. He cleaned up after himself and charged less than agreed. Totally satisfactory in every way; we highly recommend him.
