My mower was a little loud and vibrating when I finished mowing. The yard is rife with molehills, tractor ruts and blackberry suckers, but I hadn't hit anything that stopped the mower. Still, I sort of suspected a bent crankshaft. Took it to Woodinville Saws and Mowers and told the very nice woman in the office that it wasn't running right. Picked it up a week later, took it home, and despite the work that was done, the mower was no better. Took it back and told the man who had worked on it. First he insisted that it's running fine, then he said you can't bend the crankshaft on molehills. Then he said that model is not meant for hard use, and the muffler, not the crankshaft, determines the noise level, that I have no idea what a crankshaft is, but they cost a LOTTTTTA money...and I think he was just feeling bad and agitating because he had a come back. Sensing trouble, Mr. Nice comes over, tells Mr. Grouchy to tip the mower and pull the starter rope. Mr. Nice says, and quot;Yep, the crankshaft's slightly bent, and quot; whacks it twice with a mallet, and voila, it runs fine and I'm on my way. If Mr. Grouchy was the owner, I wouldn't go back, but he isn't, so I will.

Reasonable price and favorable Angie's List reviews gave me confidence in this small business in Clearview. Nearly every interaction with them proved contrary to my expectations, however. Dropped my self-propelled mower off with them for problems with the transmission which was not engaging properly. A Google search and numerous YouTube videos showed some parts in the transmission needed to be replaced. I didn't have the time so I paid them to do it. Timeline:
4/18 Dropped off mower
5/8 Picked up mower - was told that they didn't replace anything. They just greased it up. $108.
5/10 Mowed the lawn and transmission still slipped. Not surprised...no parts were replaced!
5/20 Dropped off mower again - told I was #1 in the queue since I had returned for same problem.
5/29 Called for an update and told mower needed new transmission (ordered that day)
- How was I #1 in the queue when parts were ordered 8 business days later?
6/5 Called for update. Told repair + transmission was $180. Mower still not ready.
6/11 Mower ready for pickup 17 business days after I dropped it off for the 2nd time.
6/13 Showed up to pickup mower and pay. Total was $230. Told the guy behind the counter that I was quoted $180 a few days ago. He was not interested in listening to my story and told me to speak to Pam (the owner) who was not in.
- Talked to Pam later in the day. She apologized and said I would not pay for labor and said new total was $134 which I paid over the phone. Said she would drop off the mower at my workplace 2 blocks away so I could pick it up anytime. I was impressed! That good deed more than made up for my bad experience thus far.
6/15 Stopped by my work to pick up the mower and they had not dropped it off as promised.
I live in Issaquah and work in the Clearview area a few days a week. I have made 4 trips to Woodinville Saws after getting off work to deal with them. Nearly two months have passed since I dropped the mower off at their establishment and it is still not in my possession. This company is not worthy of being on Angie's List.

The transmission on my riding lawnmower went out. I had checked with another lawn mower service and after looking at the mower they said the transmission could only be replaced by them at a cost of above $800 which is close tot he cost of a new mower. My mower is 10 years old. Woodinville Saws and mowers picked up my mower, repaired the transmission and returned the mower in 4 days. It has worked like a champ ever since. We use this mower to haul manure daily so it has been used many times since the repair. I will soon be taking my weed wackier in for a use up. Very nice people and really know what they are doing. We used them when they were closer and will continue to use them.

Fairly new blower was getting harder and harder to start and keep running. It's a good machine, but with less than 100 hours on it, it was becoming a real pain in the neck. I didn't want to try my luck at adjusting it myself yet, so I took it to Woodinville Saw and Mower.
The place looks a little sketchy, but the people are very nice.
I was told it would be 10 to 14 days due to the spring seasonal rush.
6 days later they called and it was ready.
I was impressed that the technician noted on the work slip that all blower parts were and quot;like newand quot; and only an adjustment to the carburetor, choke, and idle settings were needed.
Equally impressive was the gal that rang me up noted that her new technician didn't realize that it was okay to charge me less than an hours labor. (He thought one hour was the minimum). She made the change on the work slip to one-half hour and charged me accordingly.
I tested the blower in their parking lot before I loaded into my truck and it started on the second pull. Just like when it was new.
I've since used the blower twice for a total of about 90 minutes, and it is working great so far. Obviously the fix was spot on.

We have used one company exclusively out here who the brand that my garden tractor mower is. I was beginning to think that I was going to have to trade in my mower even though it did not have a lot of hours on it. I taught maybe it was a lemon or something and I had arranged for that company to come repair it again and they never showed to pick it up. I made an appointment and they were a no show. I thought maybe it was time to think about somebody else and so I started looking. We had a hard time finding small equipment repair places. We had a lot of issues so we actually drove to this shop before we decided and asked them what they thought. We asked what their charges were and more importantly I wanted to know what their turnaround time was because the other place took about four to eight weeks at a time. It is really hard at this time of the year and we need it. They had a quick turnaround time and they did come pick it up. They honored a ten percent discount because it was from Angie's List. We arranged for them to come and pick it up. They came when we had arranged and they had it back in about a week. Their price was considerably less than the other company and it's running like its brand new. I don't know what that company was not doing but its running. I had forgotten what it could do because it hadn't been running well for so long. I'm just thrilled. I was quiet pleased, its way better. I had a problem with my mower deck and the other companies were just kind of like it's going to cost a lot, there are no parts, it's going to have to be recreated and went on and on but this company was like it's going to need a little bit of welding and it's no problem. So I was pretty happy. I have no complaints.

Bad! I didn't have use of my washer over the spring and summer. When we did get the washer back, the pull thingy broke so I still don't have use of my washer but I don't know where else to take it to get it fixed.

Phoned them, asking if they work on propane-fired generators (they are primary a mover and saw shop). The generator is an ETL brand, which is no longer made and not many places will service. They said they could and to bring it in. On arrival, they unloaded the generator themselves. They gave me a price and time estimate. The repair was completed on time and within the estimate. Very friendly folks. Would definitely use them again.

Mower lacked power. Woodinville Mower serviced the mower, sharpened the blade and replaced a damaged plastic shield with a used part (good condition at great savings). Mower woks great!

I've used them in the past and they have always provided reasonably priced, high quality service. They unloaded and loaded the tiller so I didn't even have to worry about that. I highly recommend them.
P.S. They also stock a wide range of parts for the equipment that they repair and that are difficult to find elsewhere.

They were able to come almost immediately to pick up both my mowers and repair them. The riding mower was done in one day and brought back to me, the other had to wait for the battery (special order) and was returned within a week. They were professional, my mowers run great, they were fun to talk to and definately know their business! A great experience and I have not hesitated to refer others to them. I will use them for all my future mower issues.

The quality of their work is good but they were out of schedule. They told us it will take them a week to repair the lawn mower but it took them two or three weeks. Their pricing is higher than we expected it to be.

I took my lawn mower in and they repaired it my carborater had water in it and they repaired the pull cord it took about 2 weeks and it cost $85 for both parts and labor which I thought was very reasonable and I used Angie's List discount as well that was honored. I was happy with the service provided and would recommend this company for lawn mower related respairs---the only down side is the physical location is fairly remote to get to (if you are coming from Seattle)

Dropped off the pressure washer. I was told about a week wait.
I was called and told to pick up the item about a week later.
I asked if the cost was over $100 to let me know. The woman was a little hesitant to insure they would do that - somewhat jumped around the issue.
I picked up the item, took it home, and went over the paperwork.
I noticed the gas tank was empty ( 1/2 pt. capacity) but there was a $6 charge for gas. Hm-m-m-m
I called back and questioned the charge, especially after I brought it in full and there was no gas in the tank when I picked it up.
They apparently empty the gas tank as a basic maintenance measure and put their and quot;ownand quot; in. ( nowhere is there a sign that claims this)
The woman who answered the phone said and quot;we always charge $6 for gas.and quot;
I told her I thought that was and quot;paddingand quot; the bill, since I had no gas in the tank and the tank was only 1/2 pt capacity.
She offered to give me a $6 refund; I told her I would take her up on it the next time I brought something in.
I would use the company again with reservations.

The ladies we had direct contact with were very pleasant and professional. We took our mower in and told them what the symptoms were and they immediately knew the problem and took down our information. They helped us unload it and we were off. My only mistake was not asking for an approximate ETA. It took a little longer than we expected, but they really did an excellent job fixing it up for us. It was more costly than we expected as well, but to be truthful, we had no idea how much something like that should cost. Either way, our experience with these folks was excellent. We'd definitely recommend them.

The price was probably reasonable. The lady was really friendly and it is a great place. They fixed it in the time they promised; they may have even called me a day before they said they would have it done. I took my lawnmower to them and it looks like a lawnmower shop; it isn't very plush or anything.

They are excellent and I like their initiative in figuring our one of the problems with the mower and getting it fixed. Their turnaround time was also good and I had no dislikes. I will use them again in the future.
