Steve did an excellent job with out remodel!  We purchased the 1980's unit and instantly embarked on updating it, including completely redoing the kitchen and both bathrooms.  He helped us to understand what we could and couldn't do within the confines of our unit, and were able to do far more than we even hoped in the beginning.  Throughout the process, Steve kept us informed on the progress and discussed our various options.  We enjoyed our conversations with Steve and the process of working with him.  He also did very well getting along with the neighbors.  On top of that, the work he completed was very high quality.  We love the work he did and our newly renovated unit!  Steve is now and will continue to be our first call whenever we other work to be done on our condo!

Steve Tandori is simply amazing. I had first contacted Steve almost a year ago as I had purchased a home built in the late 90's and needed drywall work and replacement of all trim including installation of crown moldings. The outcome was perfect!
Since that initial work I have hired him for major remodeling and other small jobs totaling in more than 8 weeks in combined projects.
Steve is crazy picky and will not let any work be done sub par, he is a perfectionist!! This did not lead to higher labor costs, doing it right the 1st time was the norm.
The level of trust is so high with Steve that I do not require a bid upfront, he has access to my house as needed and is extremely respectful of our time.

We hired Steve from Angie's list and he is very personable and easy to work with.  He came in and immediately helped us with many design features and was a wealth of knowledge regarding local supplies for granite, cabinets and flooring.  He started on time once the cabinets arrived and prepped everything.  I had told him that I would like to assist when I could and he taught me a lot about painting, caulking and doing trim work.
The cabinet people I selected (not Steve) screwed up more than a few of the measurements and Steve was able to overcome the issues and helped design a vertical wine rack to fill in the opening left by the cabinet folks.  During the project he had to turn off the water supply to the house.  When turning it back on he noticed a rust coloration to the water and inspected the hot water heater finding that it was about to fail.  When I got home from work he went with me to the local home improvement store and assisted me in picking a good unit and installed it the next day.
Also he noticed that my duct work could be re-positioned in the basement to allow for more head room and showed me how to do it.  The kitchen turned out great and the whole family agreed that it was a great improvement to the house and our everyday comfort.  I would hesitate to call Steve again and I highly recommend him for any job as he knows what he is doing.

It went very well. I like there services very well. I used them because I needed my laundry room enlarged. Steve Tandari is the owner. He did the work. He’s very proficient in what he did. He listened to what I needed and it was very timely.

This is the third time we have used Steve Tandari, and we highly recommend him.  We discovered him about 2.5 years ago as a different contractor working on our house called him in to help out on a few things.  We noticed his quality workmanship and attention to detail right away that set him apart.  We vowed to contact him directly for future jobs.  We have used him on 3 occasions since and continue to be impressed with his work.

This particular occasion, we had windows, doors and bathroom work to be done on our cabin (90 minutes north of Snohomish).  Not only did he agree to travel up there and do the work, but he also offered to pick up the windows we ordered so we didn't have to pay to have it shipped to our house only to head back up north to the cabin.  We gave him the keys and he just called us when it was all done.  He was very conscientious about getting it done with minimal interruption to us using the cabin since it was in the summer.  Our next visit to the cabin, it was all done and beautiful.  He is very polite and good with our kids and takes great pride in his work. 

We will continue to use him for any/all of our general contracting needs and highly recommend him to anyone we meet.  The only downside is that he is extremely busy and so you have to be patient for him to get to you.  But when he schedules the work, he follows through and always completes on time and often under budget.

We had price quotes from a couple of other contractors before we found Steve on Angie's List.  After we called him he came promptly to see first hand what we wanted to do.  Unlike the other contractors we met with, Steve actually listened to our plans and even made several suggestions that we hadn't thought about.  The other guys told us we had to do things a certain way (to their liking) and basically offered to do things that were the most beneficial to them.  Not so with Steve.  He is obviously very experienced and super easy to work with.  He works in a clean, organized method so the work space never looked like a war zone during the remodel.  
We feel that Steve did a fantastic job for us and we definitely will call him for our next remodel or any other work that is needed.

As usual, Steve Tandari did an excellent job.  Over a period of about fifteen years, we have used Steve's services for all of our major household projects - window replacement, exterior repainting, siding replacement, kitchen counter redo (tile & granite), etc.  In every case his performance met or exceeded our expectations.  We know that we can rely on Steve to do what's best.  His prices are always reasonable and his quotes are something you can rely on.  In summary, we like his integrity, his attitude, and his workmanship.

Steve, the owner, does all his own work. He was very responsive when we contacted him about the job. He came promptly to look at our house and evaluate the scope of work. Once we decided to go with him and he started the work, we knew we had made the right choice in contractors. Steve is a craftsman who believes in quality work. He worked quickly and efficiiently, paying attention to all the details. He is fond of saying "You need to do it right" and that is what he delivers! He has an eye for design and had several suggestions about materials, placement, types of wood, etc, which were very helpful in helping us make decisions. As the project progressed we made many changes and asked Steve several times "Could you add this to the job?" He was always gracious, agreed to include it and even had suggestions as to how we could make it better! He went above and beyond in everything he did for us, even adding an electrical outlet in the attic when he was up there wiring for the can lights, just in case we ever needed to go up in the attic and needed a light. We were more than pleased with the work that Steve did. He exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be having him back to do more work on our home and would highly recommend him to anyone needing some work done around their home.

Steve Tandari was prompt in returning my phone calls and met with me on time.  He appeared clean and professional and was a very good listener when I described the services we needed.  He asked clarifying questions and took the time to listen to any concerns we had.  He was never dismissive of any concerns or ideas.
The work he performed was efficiently and professionally done.  He took the time to address issues and figure the best solutions ahead of time.  He was also kind enough to share information  that will be of benefit to us in the future.
In addition to his professional services, Steve was kind and personable.  He is the type of person you would want as a neighbor.
Steve is my first choice for any future work we may need and I highly recommend his professional services to others.   His services are not cheap,  but neither is the quality of his work.  After owning and living in our home for 19 years, I've discovered you get what you pay for.  If you want cheap work, that you will be disappointed in or have to higher some one else to repair look for cheap prices, but if you want top quality craftsmanship and some one who is very pleasant to work with, higher Steve!

Without being sacrilegious, Steve Tandari is God's own contractor. We have worked with Steve on many projects over the last 20 years, and trust him and his work implicitly. In fact, he has a key to our house! Steve is reliable, detail-oriented, and friendly. He has a great eye for design, which comes in handy since both I and my wife are limited in that area. He takes the time to understand our needs and come up with the best, most cost effective solution. The quality of his work is excellent, and his cleanup is flawless. On several occasions, Steve has gone with us to a kitchen cabinet store, to a marble counter top supplier, or simply to Home Depot or Lowe's, to help us select materials. Steve's prices are more than fair, particularly in light of the world-class quality of his work. And when we need him in an emergency, he is Johnny-on-the-spot to respond. We could not be more delighted with our experiences working with Steve.

We had a door installed off our 2nd story bedroom by a sub-contractor from Lowes.  The door was not installed correctly and leaked badly.  After many attempts and the run-around to get it repaired, we decided to sign-up for Angie's List and found Quality Home & Improvements.  He came over, as promised, and gave us a bid.  We hired him and he was able to fit us in between a couple of his other jobs.  The door was re-installed adding the proper flashing and finish work completed.  We were very impressed with the quality of work.  He showed up when promised and when completed left the space clean.  We will be using Quality Home & Improvements again.

The overall experience was excellent, no problems encountered in working with this company.  Very detail oriented and the quality of work exceeded our expectations.  Very responsive and timely in all aspects of the project.

Terrific! Home built in 1937, which presented many unique design challenges. While we used an architect to draft our remodel plans, Quality Homes and Improvements met with us during the initial design phase, assisted with permitting, and followed through on the entire scope of the project to building completion. We should comment that we're incredibly particular and it was important for us, given the age of the home, to try to maintain the home's character/integrity. The project began on time, as scheduled, and workers showed up promptly each morning, without fail. The owner, Steve Tandari (who works incredibly hard), takes great pride in his work, ensuring that everything is completed properly and to your satisfaction. All workers were professional and courteous. Upon completion, the project cost came in right in line with our quoted bid.
