While on vacation in Vancouver, BC, we got word from a friend who was checking on the house that he had to put out a fire in our main electrical meter box. Needless to say, we were ready to head back home when we couldn't reach our regular electrician. We phoned 3-4 Angie's List A-rated electricians and left messages to call us ASAP (one called back; the other never did).
Finally one electrician answered and referred us to POP Electric, very close to our house. Darren, the owner, talked to us himself and had Chris, the previous owner of POP, out to our place within 2 hours. Chris checked in with our friend and us throughout the process. The problem was faulty installation by PSE, and Chris had the problem repaired in about 5 hours. He checked inside the house for other problem and even checked on our freezer.
We are grateful that POP handled the problem by phone and email with us and experted solved the problem - and that we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We think the price was very reasonable - especially considering the circumstances - and plan on using POP as our go-to electrician in the future.

The two that came out were very professional and willing to work with us on ideas for lighting and what might be best to install without damaging existing walls or ceilings. They were able to run wire through crawl space and up into the walls. As we were moving into this house running back and forth to the former house we felt very comfortable leaving the electricians alone in house. Job was completed on time and you cannot tell this was after the fact installation.

This is a well-run business.  They did exactly what they said they would do in their bid.   Chris (the owner) and David (installer) were both very responsive, honest, and straight-forward.  They took care of everything the job needed, including coordinating the Co. electrical inspector, and working around our schedule.  We would have them do more work with no qualms.

A breaker in my kitchen that manages all the outlets (coffee maker, microwave, toaster etc) went on the fritz the Friday before Easter Sunday at 3 PM, and it would go back into position. It also tripped the GFCI switches in our bathrooms, shutting off those lights. I called POP based on Angie's List reviews. They have an answering service that takes their calls and forwards them to the electricians. I received a call back within an hour, and the tech. tried to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone first. We determined that was not working so he arranged to have someone out on Saturday morning at 10 AM. On Saturday, we received a call from the tech. assigned to the job saying he was running early and would 9 AM be OK -- to which we replied YES! (remember, our coffee maker was on the fritz). He arrived on time, identified and replaced the broken breaker switch, and took care of a couple of other small projects (see above) while he was here -- things that my husband had started but had not been able to successfully finish. He was in and out in less than an hour. I was most impressed with their responsiveness and timeliness, especially on a holiday (Easter) weekend. Their price seemed fair, neither a bargain, nor high. The tech. was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I would use them again and recommend them to a friend.

Their service was very good.  Initially their electrician went under the house and said the wire wasn't a problem.  I called my exterminator back and told him it was fine.  He went back under to do exclusion work and just about got killed.  The electrician missed the break in the wire.  The exterminator hit it with a piece of metal and sparks flew.  I called them back and they were out here immediately.  They handled it very well.

They showed up on time. They did what they said they were going to do as far as I know. Their price was negotiable. I would use their service in the future.

We tried this on our own but had trouble with the connections. Though it was a tiny job, P.O.P. was understanding and helpful; their tech guy came the next day. He was quick, efficient, and friendly - fixed everything and explained the wiring and grounding pattern each step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate to contact this company for any future work.

We had a good experience overall. We weren't even home when they did it. We had our babysitter here.

They were on time, on bid, unobtrusive, and checked out some of our 'home electrical repairs' and made suggestions. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. We no longer throw breakers once a week nor do we worry about overloading circuits when we add a heater.

They were outstanding. The president of the company came to do the estimate and then the lead electrician he sent over was a perfect match for me. They were patient with me while I made my decisions. He was helpful and recommended things that would work better which I much appreciated. He let me go to the local hardware store to purchase items that saved me money. They were great about scheduling around all the other work we were doing. They were great to work with and I would recommend them highly.
