This was a fairly elaborate work as i need to install new vents for my second floor and move the furnace from a closet to my attic space. Jeff was very patient with me through out the initial sales. He was knowledgeable and provided me honest opinion. I spoke to quite a few companies given the nature of the work and Jeff quote came out to be the cheapest. Once we agreed on the plan, we scheduled the work immediately and the crew came in and did the work with as little impact to my family as possible. They scheduled all the furnace work on a single day so we didnt have to spend night without heat. The installation crew (Cory, James and Mic) were thoughtful, respectful and friendly. I will certainly hire them again and recommend them highly.

Based on recommendations I chose Pacific Heating over a lower bid and regret it. They installed a complete Daikin FIT heat pump system and when they left it seemed to only produce luke warm air and took hrs to get our house up to 69 degrees. By next morning the house was 60 degrees with cold air coming out the vents. I did get a quick response that morning and after 3 hrs of rework the system was working. The system had frozen up because the installers did not measure the coolant line and failed to add enough refrigerant. In addition the heat strip backup was not connected to the thermostat. I am a retired site super for a home builder and I know things don't always go right the first time but this was a very poorly done install. I have been trying to get Jeff to come back to my home to address the quality of the install but it has been two months and he still hasn't shown up. The outside heat pump unit is not properly anchored and is out of level. The return air duct work is not properly supported at the air handler. The thermostat was installed out of level and insulation was left pulled back at the air handler. Some of these things I can fix myself but I feel a bit of a fool for paying a thousand dollars extra for a poorly done job. Oh yeah I also had to seal the whistling air filter housing and to add insult to injury when I opened the filter housing the filter with the big arrow on it was installed backwards. Do not use Pilchuck Heating.

Jeff responded quickly and after a short diagnosis, replaced the dead igniter. Fast, knowledgeable and courteous service at a fair price.

Jeff was on time, efficient and informative. He took the time to explain what he was doing, and offered options for the future. Not a "hard sell" at all; he just explained some of the new products on the market. Pilchuck is definitely my first option for any HVAC needs. Jeff was great.

Excellent. Prompt arrival, nice installers, great clean-up and a follow-up visit to confirm all went well. They even provided a completed form for a rebate from my gas company. I will use this company for any future furnace checks and have referred them to several neighbors and friends.

We had three different quotes and Pilchuck beat the others in all categories. They were able to offer better price and installation within days. In fact, we had to request the installation be delayed by a day due to trips we had planned and they obliged. Jeff had been to our home earlier this year to service our furnace and he knew the system. He was able to quote a firm price over the phone. He even gave us a discount for not needing a new thermostat. Jeff provided us prices for a few options that we did not exercise. He was absolutely professional and not a pushy salesman. His crew was punctual, knew what they were doing. We wanted the new wiring to come through the attic rather than go around the house in a conduit and they were happy to do it the way we wanted. Pilchuck Heating is a small company and they seem eager to earn our business. We would have no reservations recommending Pilchuck to our friends.

Excellent service. We had hired Jeff to do an evaluation and service on our old furnace. We were having problems with it and I epected that it needed replacement. Jeff gave us great advice on different options. We could have gone more cheaply, but wanted a heat pump because of it's value for resale. Jeff didn't try to push us to the more expensive options and we got a Coleman that was a good combination of price and quality. The actual installation got complicated because of our old wiring system, but Jeff worked it out even though he had to stay all day and well into the evening. He even had to come back to finish up some wiring work.

He was always extremely professional and helpful. Everything was cleaned up before he left. He's been very responsive to email and phone calls. I highly recommend Pilchuck Heating.
