I called for an appointment to get a bid and Lane and Bonnie were able to come out within a couple days to take measurements and talk about the project.  My goal was to remove the old footing (hog fuel) from around my barn, subgrade the area to improve water flow away from the barn, add drains, hoofgrid, and compacted gravel to minimize mud build-up over the winter.  The bid was competitive and since Lane had done work for me in the past, I knew that the quality would be good.  He was able to schedule me right away, which was important since I felt I was running out of time before the wet weather was going to start.  Lane communicated with me throughout the few days that it took to finish the job, making sure that my questions and concerns were addressed as they came up.  The job was completed within the time frame promised.  The finished paddock was perfect!  My horses like it and I am enjoying a new "mud-free zone".  We have had a few wet days in the last month since the job was done and it seems to be doing great...no mud!
