Not well. We had a concept design for the patio from our landscape designer. Janske was to create the sub-base and lay dimensional bluestone. He was to "high-grade" the stone for a specific color range. Though he brought out a stone sample that was spot-on, and we signed off on it, he proceeded to deliver stone that was completely wrong. He seemed uninterested or incapable of solving this problem. I finally had to suggest I would be willing to meet him at the stone yard to pick stone. He then proceeded to abandon the job for two weeks, missed a meeting with me and my husband and was not in communication. Our last effort to get the job on track was stipulating that he have an experienced stone layer on the job. The following week we terminated his contract when a single inexperienced stone layer was on-site, and we witnessed the owner giving him the most basic instruction on how to lay stone. We've now hired a reputable stone layer who will be redoing some of his work.
Description of Work: Janske completed excavation and creation of the gravel sub-base for a stone patio. They did not lay the stone.
