We had some issues, but they were really good at resolving them. They promised two days, but it took six. They came out on Saturday though to finish, because I needed it done before Sunday.

Communication between House Doctors and their contractors is not the best. I thought I had an appointment for the work to be done but no one showed initially. When their contractor did show, he wasn't aware of the original quote and had just heard about the job the previous evening. The contractor wasn't speedy, but the quality of his work was excellent. The price was very fair for the work done.

"WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THIS HOME. WE WERE A FEW DAYS LATE IN GETTING TO THE JOB, WE ADMIT. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN EXTREMELY BUSY AND WE HAD A FEW JOBS RUN LONG, AS IS COMMON IN THIS BUSINESS. HOWEVER, WE ARE CURRENTLY FINISHING THIS JOB."

Owner bid the job and gave impression of highest level of quality and professionalism - slick sales job with "upsell" talent. Did not start on time did not finish on time. Slid/rushed my job to make room for others. Did not supervise workers. Abysmal quality; toilet did not cover hole in floor, paint stains on carpet, used wrong species (cheap) wood on 100% cedar home, split rails in deck, crooked pickets, non standard practices, hack work, rush job, mixed materials. Left a mess in the yard, did not clean up, hit a tree with truck and denied. Shingle job was horrific. Cigarette smoke in house. Owner lost his temper when I questioned quality. Abusive treatment. Complained to Franchise Corporate, complained to BBB, nothing. Did not honor warranty. Simply too many things wrong to accept redo. House sold at below asking price. Inspection picked up hack work. I have complete set of photos for abysmal quality, complete proof. Worst contractor experience ever - please avoid.

"He is doing his best to attack our company and reputation. He tried with the BBB and by contacting our parent franchise company. We have told him from day one our work is guaranteed and he has ignored that. We did offer him $1000 with a time limit which he failed to respond and then responded after the deadline just to criticize us again. He has now sold his home, has wore out his welcome with the BBB and our parent company. We stand behind our product and service. We have a good reputation or we wouldn't have stayed in business over 10 years. Ron Dent"

PRETTY GOOD, THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE WORKERS (I TOLD ONE ABOUT SOME CHANGES TO THE ORIGINAL PLAN AND HE DIDN'T RELAY THOSE PROPERLY TO THE OTHERS). THERE WAS ORIGINALLY SOME SHABBY WORK ON THE WINDOW INSTALLATION (THE OUTSIDE WAS TRIMMED WITH 2X4S AND DIDN'T LOOK FINISHED) BUT ONCE I MENTIONED THIS THE CONTRACTOR MADE THE CHANGES AND IT LOOKED BEAUTIFUL.
