HOOVER ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION

Great experience. We were planning to wait a little longer to do this project, but a leak in the old roof prompted us to do the entire job and not just patch the old one. We had three quotes, and Hoover was the best for price and doing what we wanted. We had wanted to add a new gutter where one was not put in originally (stupid design by house builder!) and they had no problem adding it. Another company didn't think it was possible and the other company was going to make us rewire the outside light fixture and that would require patching the cedar siding and would look terrible! Hoover said, "no problem" and didn't even charge extra! We also had them reroute another section of downspout to cut down on the noise against our bedroom wall, and again this was done to our complete satisfaction. Our job was done during an early snowstorm and we had no leaking whatsoever during the time of construction while we waited for the snow to melt. Our home has a very step driveway, and difficult access to the step pitched roof. They had no problem getting the roofing materials up on top and doing the job! They cleaned up very well, I hardly found any nails or debris afterward and considering all the snow I was amazed at how little was left behind.

Rick and his crew did a GREAT job!! They did the job for the price they quoted and on time. They cleaned up after them all the work was none. They ever did some extra that were no on the estimate. I also used them on my rental They are BEST Joe

I am having a large remodel by another company who recommended Hoover Construction/Roofing to replace the roof. Rick provided a proposal for three grades of roofing material. I chose the middle since he has that on his house. The work was scheduled and coordinated with the rest of the remodel. Rick and the team showed up bright and early on a Monday morning and the job was complete on Wednesday. The job was done incredibly well and surprisingly quick, especially since most of the work was done by one guy (Benito). Rick requested a deposit of half the job the first day they got started. I was not prepared for that and did not feel very comfortable about it. Had he not been recommended by my contractor, I would not have given him the money, but as it turned out, I am very happy with the whole package. He also fixed the gutters I had put in about 3 year ago by another company that I've already rated on this site. Overall, I think I got more than I paid for.

Rick at Hoover Roofing answered a multitude of questions my husband and I had. They worked with a difficult to access rooftop, our driveway is steep and the house is tall. I was amazed at how the roofing supplier was able to deliver the supplies! He coordinated the delivery and we did not have to do anything. After the old roof was removed we had a winter storm and snow. We had no leaks at all, so they must have done a great job with protecting out home. The roof and two skylights were installed after the snow had cleared. They cleaned up the job afterward, we had to wash the windows and sweep the front porch of some dirt but it was dirty before they started. Very pleased with the whole experience.

I called Rick @ Hoover Roofing and he came over to take measurements and drop off samples of roofing color/material choices within a couple of days. The estimate was very reasonable and the reputation of Hoover Roofing from 3 other homeowners that have had new roofs from Hoover made the decision easy. Once we gave the green light, the crew was on site in a few days and the work was completed in 2 days. The workers were quick, skilled and knowledgable in getting the job done. There was absolutely NO mess left when they were done. Besides seeing a beautiful new roof, you'd never have known that they were even there! They did more than just replace what was there as they actually improved on the methods of roofing from what I had previously had. Metal valleys and replacement flashing in many areas plus replacement of some plywood where rotted were details that give me confidence recommending Hoover Roofing to anybody. Rick also followed up to make sure we were satisfied. They were a pleasure to work with and one of our neighbors had Hoover Roofing put on a new room for them about a month later. All in all, we could not be happier with the work by Hoover Roofing!
