Eli and his crew were very punctual, courteous, and professional.  I feel that removing trees in an established neighborhood is difficult due to existing structures, road traffic, power lines, etc., but it was obvious that Eli and his crew were very skilled and also very safety conscious.  Everything went flawlessly.  It was also clear that Eli is a very skilled arborist and the pruning he did on a variety of trees was done to compliment their growth habit as well as any existing environmental factors.  I was very impressed.  Eli and his crew worked very efficiently and left the yard/garden in better shape than they found it!

Eli clearly communicated his assessment and thoroughly explained the reasons and process of removing additional trees. He has extensive knowledge of the topography and environmental factors in addition to trees and proper logging techniques. DEFINATELY not just in it to chop down trees, as I have experienced with other arborist in the area. His crew showed up on time, worked hard, were freindly and courteous to me and my family, and everything was done in an professional manner that I am very happy with. Will DEFINATELY be calling on Eli for future tree service.

Eli, the owner, arrived on time, and quickly began to look at all of my trees. I was concerned that my trees may be diseased and would need to be cut down, but he reassured me that my trees were healthy and didn't need any treatment. Since no other services were performed, he didn't charge me anything.
The owner was friendly and professional, and I appreciate that he cares about trees and the value of my property.

Eli and crew removed a couple of big trees for us and did a bunch of trimming of trees to open up our view. In this case it required also coordinating with our neighbors as some of the trees we wanted trimmed were on their property. To be totally fair, we have no idea really if the cost was too expensive or a good deal as we did not do any price comparisons. That said, we were very impressed at how Eli handled himself with all of our requests. He even worked with us months after the initial work ( as he had promised to do) to come back and do some fine tuning to further open up the view. This really impressed us.

The contractor returned my calls promptly, made professional recommendations reflecting his expertise in the local ecology, the condition of the trees, and knowledge of the regulatory environment. The permit was applied for and secured after extensive negotiation with the Regulators due to the size of the Project.

The contractor operates a legal, licensed and bonded service, and employs other professionals in what appears to be a very difficult and somewhat dangerous operation.

.The work was performed quickly and safely, and the felled materials dropped in a manner that preserved existing landscaping as well as protected structures on the property.

The wood was left in place as agreed upon, after being cut into firewood size pieces. The limbs and tops were ground on site and distributed on the property (as agreed) as mulch.

The work area was cleaned to my satisfaction. And the project was completed in two days as promised.

The owner of this Company participated in all phases of the project and followed up to make sure of my satisfaction.

I experienced a high satisfaction level with Heritage Tree Service, with Eli the owner/operator, and plan to do additional work with them in the future.

I give my best recommendation to this Contractor.

It went great, they were punctual and worked steadily. In two hours my yard was clean and the trees look wonderful. Eli did some extra pruning on trees that needed it including a magnolia, a flowering quince and a mugo pine. His crew cleaned up messes that I had made as well as their own.

Eli and his crew came on time and were professional. The price seemed about right. They even trimmed some bushes to make the whole area look good without extra charges.

The crew arrived on time, were polite and efficient. The tree was located in a tight spot and they brought it down with precision one section at a time. It was a very positive experience and I believe they did a good job.

They were good but I think their pricing was a little high. We have additional charges because we had additional trees taken out.

Eli was very prompt and professional at our appointment. He obviously has extensive tree knowledge and cares about trees, which was very important because I love my trees! I did not know that my huge sequoia needed a cable, it was something that Eli spotted, and I was very thankful during the next windstorm. The crew that came out on the day of the job were also very knowledgeable and polite, and I felt very secure going to work and not being present. Eli did come by to check on things and work with the crew for a bit, and called me that evening to check in on my satisfaction. I love that my trees got some long needed attention by Heritage Tree Care. I will definitely give Eli's name to my friends/co-workers, and will call them when my other trees are in need of help.

I would first like to thank the reviewer who recently gave this businessman a virtual character assassination on Angie's List. I've worked with another local tree service for years, like the job they do, and wasn't planning to change providers. But the lone negative review was so out of whack with the rest, that it inspired me to reach out, something I almost never do.
But after talking to Eli the business owner and arborist for nearly an hour on the phone, I could not help but be impressed by his passion for the arborist's work, concern for customer satisfaction, and his personal integrity. He quietly and professionally explained the circumstances of the negative review from his side. It convinced me to meet the man in person, and get his assessment of the tree I needed taken down. I was impressed with his character, and his knowledge, and hired the company to do the work then.
I would have called mine a small, but challenging job, what with the sloping ground, the proximity of the tree to the two houses, and the overhead electrical service. And a single tree is a small job to these folks. They nevertheless performed the work quickly, efficiency, and with all due care. They even volunteered to do complimentary trimming of dead branches on some of my adjacent trees. I know I will be very glad of this when the next windstorm blows into the area.
In summary, it was a very satisfactory experience for a reasonable price. And I would use Heritage Tree Care Northwest again.

This is the second time we have used this business for tree care, the first being many years ago to remove dangerous and already downed trees (one on the roof of our shed), and then this second time for a much larger project. The first time Eli was still working on his own, but he now has a crew that he employs. Overall it was a good experience, and Eli had many suggestions on how to deal with various trees, and whether we should even just remove tree limbs rather than remove a tree, all with an eye not only for esthetics, but also for animal habitat. His crew worked quickly and efficiently over the several days it took for this job, and we only paid at the end after we were completely satisfied with the results. Yes, graded a B on cost, as Heritage is not on the low end of expense, but you get exactly what you want, rather than a just OK job. We would definitely use Heritage again.

They were on time, professional, safe but fast and very pleasant. They chipped up the branches and gave us the chips for the trails on our property. They stacked the wood and cleaned up the debris very well. We will hire them back anytime. Great job!

Heritage Tree Care has continually provided not only great tree services for our home, but has also guided us in reviving the natural habitat surrounding our home. When we moved in, the soil and trees were lacking the proper nutrients (as we have learned), so we hired Heritage Tree Care to help us get the health of our property back to where it should be. Eli and his team are very responsive, and always get the job done correctly. On the last job, there was an extra limb near the top of the tree that we wanted removed, but we didn't notice it until after they had left. Eli was back on our property the following day to remove this extra limb at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Heritage Tree Care if you are looking for a professional, Tree service company.

We contacted Eli at Kunzmann Treecare, about removing a number of trees close to our house in Carnation, WA. There were several dead trees, and two years ago, one of them had came down on the house, causing major roof damage. Some of the trees that needed to be removed were on a steep slope, right next the the garage. There was a very narrow gap in which they could come down without damaging the building. We also wanted a group of Evergreens topped to open up our view of Mt Rainier, that had slowly disappeared over the span of 30 years, as the trees grew. Eli assessed the job, and offered very helpful suggestions. He and his crew arrived on time and worked steadily for three days, part of the time in pouring rain. The trees were all felled with precision, and our magnificent view was restored. I was very impressed with their steady work, attention to our property, and with the safety measures taken. Our son was on site for the work, found the crew to be courteous and focused. He took some amazing videos of some of the work done - especially of John, who climbed an 80 foot tree in the rain, and took the top 15 feet off. I am happy to recommend this company and its owner.
