Gary Prokash Plumbing, Inc

He is really good. They are more north than we are here in Renton, but they were very good. He is the big guy. He does the construction and rehab. He does not do a lot of fix-it stuff, but he does the construction and rehab very well. We shopped and I say his prices are good, but I have paid him a lot because I had big stuff done. What is good is his skill. His technical ability and subject matter expert level is good. There were some minor things that we needed to clear up.

When GP works with the contractor you get results, however, we once we finished with the contractor and then were paying GP directly to do the final trim out work, the customer service really dropped off.  The plumber sent to do the final trim had to come back because the inspector would not sign off since under the sink the connections were not secured to anything.  When plumber came back out he drilled screws through the opposite side into our brand new cabinets.  So, now when you open the cabinet on the other side of the island you have sharp screws sticking out.

Now a year out, we called because the hose faucet outside is leaking constantly.  We cannot seem to get on the schedule to get them to come out an replace the obviously faulty faucet.  These should last longer than a year!  When I called I also inquired about getting a bid for our bathroom remodel, but Gary told me he was out at least two months then when I asked him to recommend another plumber he said he didn't know of any!  Can't help you and can't recommend any place else either! 

After my husband called  back last week, Gary told him he would get us on the schedule, but we still have not heard back. 

GP does not want to do work for the common residential customer.  If you are not a contractor do not use this company.  And do not expect any kind of guarantee of work from them since getting them back out to correct faulty work or parts is next to impossible!

I was pleased with there work. They are a little expensive but did a good job. They are punctual.

Scheduling and communication from Gary was always great. His plumbers were prompt, clean, knowledgeable, courteous craftsmen. They accomplished our below-slab drain work in pouring rain. And then they came back in bitter cold weather to install service piping and vents. They showed up on time with the right materials and the right tools, and they got the job done-no leaks, no problems.
