Great experience working with Cristian and his team: very responsive, always on time, easy to deal with – the answer to all my concerns was ‘no worries’. The quote for the job was well in the ballpark with the estimates from other companies. And the result is nicely repaired, added and seamlessly blended with the twenty-year-old floors, beautifully refinished hardwoods. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Cristian and Travis from Five Star Hardwoods. They were the first to respond when I reached out to several companies for a bid. They made it out to my house in a timely manor and I received a reasonable quote shortly thereafter. They were accomodating and flexible when scheduling the timing of the refinishing. Travis was in charge of sanding and fixing the damaged areas. He was on time and had a great disposition. These guys are doing very hard work... particularly in our case they had to move some very large furniture... and they do it with a great attitude. Cristian is a really nice to work with and he understood exactly what I was looking for as far as the finish and sheen of the wood floors. He clearly takes pride in doing beautiful work. Everything they did exceeded my expectations. We have beautiful wood vent covers in each room now that are flush with the floors and perfectly matching quarter round. The house was cleaned nicely, and Cristian checked in with me after the work was completed to see if we needed some help reassembling a tricky bunk bed that my kids sleep in. Seriously, so impressed and I would highly recommend them!

The new floor matches perfectly with the old floor, and it's impossible to tell where the old ends and the new starts. They did a fantastic job interleaving the two and getting the same finish on it all.

Excellent work & quality. Although we had an issue that was no fault of 5 Star they took extra effort to redo the work. But the finished job was a work of art! Great job!

Cris, the owner was great. Came to look at our job the day I called. ( turns out he just lives down the street from us) He worked with me to edit the scope of work until it fit my budget. It took a while to get on the schedule due to Cris's family schedule and other jobs and I lost a bit of contact with him during those months. This was the only sort of issue I had. I began doubting my contractor choice and freaking out a bit. Having never had floors done i had a million questions. I emailed Cris with my anxiety and once he understood that I am an information junkie and that I needed a lot of hand holding through this process he was wonderful. He gave me any and all information needed, he reassured me 1000 times and the whole time was professional, sweet and generally a nice guy. Both he and his assistant Travis were a delight to have in our home. With 3 homeschooled kids, 2 cats and a dog, these guys had a lot to put up with. My floors are seamless, smooth and beautiful now. I couldn't be happier.

Cris is very professional and the job is going along just as planned. Travis and Cris work well together and truly enjoy their job. They are skilled craftsmen and the quality of work shows. We anticipate to be complete by the end of the week but I am so confident with them that I am writing this review mid job.

Cris and Rick were amazing. We bought flooring that was not the best of quality and gave on installing it ourselves. We hired Five Star and they did an amazing job in no time. Added trim and were very professional. Excellent clean-up and great customer service.

The job went really well and cristian the owner was known top of every task. They were able to complete the job in a week and a half. The crew made a pretty big mess sanding but shocked me when they had everything cleaned same day. In the end my floors look better than ever and I am great full I did not do it myself.

Cristian's crew, under his direction, did an excellent job in installing my new wood laminate flooring. Cris communicated clearly with me throughout the project, which was very reassuring for me. Also, his price was so affordable! I couldn't resist offering him and his men a cash bonus in thanks for all their hard work and the quality of their work. I would certainly hire Five Star in a heartbeat, and will recommend them to anyone needing new flooring!
