Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
Work was done reasonably well. However, CSI did not seem to have its finances in order. We were nagged by one of CSI's contractors (the cabinet manufacturer) who threatened to send the sheriff to reposess the cabinets. We had already paid CSI in full for the cabinets. Luckily, we will not have to pay, because the cabinet maker did not give us proper notices that CSI had not paid for the cabinets. Still, based on this experience, I will not be doing business with CSI again. There is still part of the contract that CSI has not completed, and I have not paid for. I do not plan to let them back in the house. As I write this, the state's web site indicates that CSI's contractors license (CABINS984C5) has been suspended. Workmanship was generally good, but there were a few lapses. For example, although they were supposedly going to level the bathroom floor with a leveling compound over a radiant heat installation, the floor had significant bumps in it.
