They showed up on time, that was their only plus.
They installed the tree same day and left. Dylan was clearly uncharging for him to come to Bellevue ($60 per tree) when he quoted $45 on the internet. This was my fault for accepting it. However, i was willing to pay a premium for good service, but got quite the opposite.
After diligently watering the trees for 4 weeks, 4 of the 8 are dead or dying. 4 are still alive (so i was clearly watering) ... These trees were infested with "spider mites" (a known killer of aborvitae) and were not very well kept.
After emailing (including a picture) Dylan once about the issue, his response was "trying watering less" (really?) ... so i turned down my watering to twice a week (vs. 3-4 times per week) and the plants quickly started to die faster...
I emailed, called, left a voicemail and have not heard from Dylan or anyone from Alexander's Landscaping again.
Clearly he just wants the money (and willing to overcharge) and does care about his work or reputation.
