Crew of 5 were on-time and very professional. They laid down plywood on the lawn to wheel the rocks and gravel for backfill. After completing the job they cleaned up the area and left it as they found it.

The yard landscaping went relatively well. They started off strong, but problems toward the end of the job.  The owner stopped showing up, and only sent his crew once the job was underway.  A key component in the landscaping design was the waterfall in the back.  They did not build the reservoir at the bottom large enough to contain all the water when the falls are turned off, causing the reservoir to overflow.  Their solution was to install an overflow hose, and to take the overflow water away everytime the waterfall is turned off.  This then results in there not being enough water in the reservoir when you turn the waterfall on, which requires us to add water.  As you can image, this means that if you shut the waterfall off every night, you lose 20-30 gallons of water, that has to be refilled every morning.   They have been back 3 times to fix it, but it still is not working properly.
While they were landscaping the yard, we also secured a quote from them to clear a building site for new garage.  Quote #1.  Three months later we hired them to clear the building site.  They increased the quote by 35% (Quote #2) for the work, based on the final size of the building.  We agreed to the price in Quote #2, and signed a fixed price agreement.  After they started the project, the owner increased the price again, by another 35%.  We tried to negotiate for them to finish the work at the agreed upon price but we were unable to reach an agreement.   We stopped the project and asked them to leave.  We paid them 50% of the agreed upon price for the work done to date on the building site.  

When Danson's owner (Rick) first came to our house for an estimate, my wife and I were very impressed with his overall design knowledge and felt that he listened to our ideas, making additional suggestions as to the overall look we wanted.  His crew showed up on time each day, and worked nearly nonstop.  It was obvious his crew of 6 were highly trained and all went about their individual tasks in a very quick, efficient manner.  We were also impressed that Rick not only oversaw the project, but he worked alongside his crew.  As Rick promised, our landscaping was completed in two days.  We are extremely satisfied with the end result and can enthusiastically recommend Danson's Landscaping Inc.

We love these guys. This is the second house we had built in the past 8 years and we used Danson's Landscaping to landscape the entire yard on both homes. They did an awesome job on both homes. They have done rock walls for us, rock stairways, firepits, sprinkler systems, sod, dry riverbeds, etc, etc...They are always very professional, punctual, and provide excellent customer service. If something isn't done right, they will come right back out and fix it without question. They also have very competitive pricing--usually lower than most bids. In both our homes, the builder didn't grade properly and Danson's fixed the grading in both home without added cost to us. From Rick, the owner, to Danielle, in the front office to Gary in the field. They are all top notch in our book! We highly recommend them and will continue to use them as our and quot;go toand quot; landscaper for all our landscaping and irrigation needs.

They put in a retaining wall and they said they were going to fill in the terrace with dirt that I can use plant something, but they put in huger rocks and very little dirt. In order to plant anything, I had to dig up the soil, amend the soil and it was a two way and on the other side was only gravel or sill. It was not what he said he was going to do and it was a big problem for me in terms of planting. When he came back out, I told him that I was not happy and he brushed over the whole thing like did what he was supposed to do and that I should not be surprised that I found rocks in it. I did not feel like pursuing it and felt that that there was no point arguing with him, and I also thought that the price was too high for what they did. The retaining walls that they did looked good.

THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT AND THE PROFESSIONALISM OF THE STAFF IS WHAT WOULD MAKE US USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH DEALING WITH THEM.
