Washington Tree and Lawn Care

It was good, they were very professional, on time and it was a full service. They are also honoring military discount.

The gentleman that came out and did the work was punctual and efficient , he answered all my questions and did what he was suppose to do. The thing I don’t like is the constant phone calls, emails and mailings trying to solicit other services. If I want something done I will contact them and would prefer they leave me alone.

Three-plus weeks after spring fertilizing with a combination of quick-release and slow release fertilizer, significant areas of lawnhave failed to thrive. Lawn was installed last August, over healthy new three-way topsoil. Sprinkler system has ensured sufficient and complete watering. Service call we requested indicated too-low a mow height. Hard for poorly-growing areas of grass to meet a lawnmower blade. Grass height for mowing is per JB Sod specs. Attached photos are representaive of lawn areas on June 28, 2018, 22 days after most-recent service.

The technician was friendly, professional and informative. He explained what services they would provided and things that I could do to improve the health of my lawn between servicing.

He said that if he missed anything I could call and they would return and spray again free of charge. I had some morning glory sticking through the fence into the neighbor's yard and he came back out and sprayed it for nothing. They did really well.

The technician was friendly and professional. He offered me suggestions on lawn care based on the current condition of my lawn; it was in a poor state due to weeds and moles. My lawn is coming back, is it green and grass is overcoming weeds. Bare spots are filling in.

They do a good job. The only one time I had a problem was when they had the hoses they use to spray with and they broke one of my garden things. They came back and replaced it and they were really great about it.

They  always send their little tanker truck with the bug stuff in it or whatever they use to spray. And there was a guy named Bill, he was the guy that serviced this area. So I got to know him and he was very very helpful and every time he showed up and I had a question I'd go out and talk to him about it and he had all the good answers. Then he retired and they have a new guy who just walks around and like a zombie and you say hello and he's kind of grumpy and unfriendly. and he does the job okay but he's not Bill you know. The other guy was just more personable so I know people are all different but I kind of miss Bill. And Bill almost got fired because he was so honest with me. This was years ago and he said to me you know what I think your wasting your money having us come out because your lawn really needs to be replaced. And I said boy you got that right and I said thank you and I'm planning to do that and so I canceled their service told them I was going to have my lawn replaced. And I said I want to thank Bill for pointing that out because he's right you know he's just coming out here and I'm paying for, all of our dirt around here is clay and so it's really hard to keep your lawn going. So anyway what happened was because I said that they called him in and he told me much later. He was really reluctant to tell me but he said you almost got me fired, because he said I was talking you out of the service of our company and I should have just kept going and not said anything. And I said well that is baloney because you were honest about it and actually it's to the benefit cause I replaced my lawn and I'll have you guys now take care of all that only I was out of there for six months till the lawn got good enough to go again. And I said do you want me to call your boss and like I wanna clear this up and he said oh no that's fine don't call no it's fine. We laughed about it but it was terrible because I didn't realize by saying you guy is so honest that he told me I was wasting my money and I didn't mean it to take business away it was just that I appreciated him saying that so it would get me going to correct the problem.

They call a head, double check the date they were going to do the service and did an excellent job.

They've always provided the service requested.  Each quarter I receive a call asking if I'd like the seasonal spray, which I typically decline until the Winter dormant spray.  They are very polite when I decline and appreciate my winter-only business.  I let them schedule the day and time that is convenient for them so I don't have to worry about being there.  The bugs were eliminated and with the winter spray I don't have any further problems.  I have several friends and neighbors that use them as well and are satisfied.

mostly effective, but it still has fungus, albeit less fungus. Last spray was delayed 2-3 weeks. I don't know why.

They use an organic spray on the trees, which is nice because an hour or so later, I can eat the fruit. Their prices are reasonable also.

Service quality was great. They explained all the offerings to me on the phone and answered all my questions. It's convenient and great for the yard. My yard already looks better.

This company does a good job and we have been pleased with their service. Our lawn has never looked better. We have also had them spray ornamental plants for insects and disease, with varying degrees of success controlling fungus (common in our area) and other plant diseases and insects. At one point we had them spraying and/or treating our yard and ornamental garden areas nine times/year, but the cost was more than our budget could bear on a continuing basis. Thus we have scaled back to three sprays/treatments per year. We have recommended them in the past and would do so again.

Great. First off, I had an appointment for August 12th but asked for them to come as soon as they could. They did. Second the person who came looked at all of our plants and indicated we really didn't need any type of service. Our biggest problem was the lack of rain. We really didn't have any pest problems that spraying would help. What honesty! They told me to just keep watering like I had already started doing a few days before. Things are already starting to turn around. Thank you very much Washington Tree Service!

They are always on time and friendly. They seem to do a good job.

I've been on a plan with Washington Tree and Lawn Care for years. They keep track of what needs to be done so if I have some reason why I don't want it done they will reschedule it, they use eco friendly products, they are very reliable, very helpful, and are reasonably priced. They are efficient about what they're doing, when they're coming, and if I do have a question they are responsive within a day. They have a window of time to get here and they always get here in the period. If anything is happening on their end like weather they always call me so I feel like it's a very good service. I think Washington Tree and Lawn Care is a very good company.
