Tom is an artist. His understanding of and experience with tile setting are amazing. I picked the tile that I wanted and thought I knew how it would look. With Tom's suggestions, the finished product was so much better than I had imagined. He checked with me throughout the process and made useful suggestions about finishes, grout colors and tile placement. Both rooms are beautiful and the tile setting perfect. Tom was great to work with, was there when he said he would be and made the whole process a very positive one.

The contractor was on time and completed the job with no issues.  I was very pleased with his quality of his work and would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Homeowners completed the rough in and sheetrock install and finishing, TMW followed up with tile installation. Tom was very patient and accommodating with schedule issues. Tom Wallace was very responsive from the initial communication to provide an estimate to completion of the project. He made himself available on multiple occasions to discuss and advise on rough in details for shower enclosure and other tricky areas, taking time to measure before sheetrock was hung and anticipate finished dimensions and nuances that would provide the best results. He also was very flexible when changes or add ons were requested.He gave great advice on tile types, sizes, colors. What to avoid in certain areas, how the color accents would turn out, and was very appropriate and helpful when the homeowning spouses negotiated tile decisions. Tom payed particularly close attention to tile details like spacing, tile layout when building the shampoo nook into the shower wall, the layout of the accent around the room in the wainscotting, installing the accent tile frame around the mirror, and putting up with the hassle of using two different grout colors on adjacent tiles.Tom's price was very fair. There were no surprises in the bill, he was very reasonable with the few add ons, and didn't charge extra for the items with high hassle factor such as two different grout colors.Working with Tom Wallace was one of the best experiences we have had hiring a contractor to do work on our house. We highly recommend his services.
