They charged me $425 all told, but they temporarily cleared out my drain. I don't think I was excited about them. They gave me the picture, but it didn't really do me much good. The guys that actually cleaned them didn't need that picture. I don't know that I would recommend them again. I thought it was rather expensive. They did have to use a big machine to find the broken pipe. They did tell me that I had to have it replaced and that I did have a breakage. They had to use a sewer machine to locate the blockage and then they had one hour of additional labor which they charged $100. I can't remember what that additional labor was or maybe they just had a hard time getting through.

Their website says "call before you dig" at the top and I am glad I did. I was looking at digging up the street to solve my "roots in the sewer line" problem after other companies came and hydrojetted the line but said the camera kept running into a ball of roots that's in the city's standpipe. I got advice to call the City about it and separately contacted various sewer contractors to see what I should do if City wouldn't fix it and I'm on my own to dig it up. One experienced contractor recommended Drain Tech to me, instead of giving me an expensive bid to dig up the street. I called and Mary returned my call the next day. Then came Jeff, and within 1 1/2 hour, the roots were cut. He recommended a yearly maintenance plan and the line should work fine. What a relief.
The company seems to do business the old fashion way, by phone call, with mailed invoices and with a lot of integrity and professionalism that's refreshing. I also learned a lot about the history of sewer line construction in Seattle from talking to Jeff who was very personable and demonstrated a lot of skill and knowledge on the job. Would highly recommend this company.

I have been using Drain-Tech for years to clean out the sewer line at my rental house. It is an old line and tree roots get into the line every year; the one year I didn't have it snaked out, the line backed up into the basement. I love everything about this company, though I have no idea if the price is competitive because I've never used anyone else. They are courteous (both on the phone while scheduling, and at the site), prompt and fast.

Excellent. Returned my call immediately and then arrived at my house within an hour which was excellent. The work was done in a professional way and the guidance was just as good. I would definitely use them again.

I was referred to them by another company, which asked me to check with Drain-Tech before I drilled, because they have better technology to clear drain blockages. They came out and cleared it within an hour. I was very happy with the quality of their work, although it was hard to see what they were doing.

We had slow drainage of the floor drain in the basement drain. They were able to clean it out and get it working again. They provided a lot of advice on what we should do to keep our drains clean. Well done job and they came out soon after we called them.
