STEVE'S REPAIR

About 2 weeks after taking it in, I called and was told the bracket raising and lowering the mower deck needed replaced. They said they order it and call me when installed. After another 2 weeks, I called them and was told it was done. When I went to picked it up it took them nearly 30 minutes to find my mower. When I checked oil before use, I noticed it still had the factory oil filter. Looking deeper, I found the damaged blades still place and the oil was filthy. I took my lawnmower into Steves shop so he could order a new carburetor. He took the serial number from the engine and ordered the part. He never called to say it was in so I finally went in and it had been there for a few days. It looked like the old one so I took the part home and installed it on the mower. The choke wasn't working propperly so I took the whole mower in with the new carburetor installed so they could figure out what was wrong.i received a call from them and was told it was the wrong part. I reminded them that they oredered it and I didn't think I should be responsible for installing the wrong part. They refused to give me my money back and even charged me for telling me it was the wrong part. They also returned to mower to me in parts. I was very unhappy with them and will never go back. I am also telling everbody I know of the horrible service I receieved from them.
