CORNERSTONE BUILDERS INC

We had several friends recomend CornerStone Builders to us. All had +++ experience. One of the owners of Cornerstone was the main contact person. lex. Very helpful and quick to respond to emails and calls. Ours was a smaller project then this company usually takes on (They mainly design and build entire homes). All in all a good experience. Think towards the end they were busy with other bigger projects and were in a rush to get ours done. One not so great experience was the installation of the dry wall. the cut out for several of the light switches and a few of the door opening were sloppy and over sized a bit. Cornerstone did address the problem but I still have had to do some repair on my own. There were several areas where paint or glue was spilled on the new flooring..Some of which I have not been able to remove as of yet..I'll keep working at it. (The flooring cost was $4700).The drywal finisher was unhappy with us for keeping the basement too cold. Well nobody told us to keep it heated...all we needed was to be told. No final walk through was done with me as stated in the contract. Aside from the above mentioned 'issues' we felt it was a quality job. The job site was kept clean and trash hauled away.We would hire them again.
