No resolution and terrible ordeal! This order was for ten blinds, five of them were perfect, the other five were not what we asked the sales rep to order.

I had arranged for two bids on this job, one from Budget Blinds and one from Home Depot. Beth from Budget Blinds came out with the most professional demeanor, ready to listen to my needs, answer my questions, and present me with effective solutions. Home Depot, on the other hand, sent out someone to measure and measure only, at a non-refundable cost of $65. That fellow was an embarrassment with his gut hanging over his belt and his shirt tail hanging over his gut. His interest seemed to be to get in and out as quickly as possible. He was not particularly good at listening to my needs. When I asked questions, he referred me to the Home Depot professionals. He offered no effective solutions. The difference between my treatment at the hands of Budget Blinds and at the hands of Home Depot was the difference between open blinds and closed blinds.

My meeting with the owner, Gabriel, went ok and I was pleased. I asked where the shutters were made and he told me
California. He also told me that the shutters would be ready in 4 weeks, in fact he said that sometimes they come in 3 weeks. I told him that this would be fine as I was expecting out of town guests. The order was placed May 17th
After4 weeks, I called Budget Blinds and asked for a status on my order. The Receptionist informed me that my blinds were on a boat somewhere in the Pacific coming from China. and that they would be here July 5th. My guests were due July2nd.
I complained to the office about the what I consider to be a Bait and Switch. Tell me anything to get the order, obtain a 75% downpayment and then completely change what I was offered for my money.
I want to make it clear that from the Receptionist to the installer, I was impressed with their courtesy. However, for the owner, Gabriel, I'm not. Not a word from him, no phone call, no apology so I am left to assume that he is really doing a BAIT AND SWITCH.
I would not use this company again.
