Never heard back to get a bid on project

We didn't end up working with them, but their communication, follow-through and detail when providing a bid was outstanding. I look forward to working with DH West Coast for future projects.

Very well, these guys were fantastic to work with and they did a beautiful job! I would highly recommend them. They worked well with us and were very patient with our requests. They were on time,cleaned up after everything and did a most beautiful job! I just can’t say enough. The improvements in our home are amazing!. Love it .

This was the second major remodel we had Darrell and crew do for us. We downsized and purchased a house that had been a rental for 6 years. We needed to make it "ours" so we had the flooring removed (vinyl and carpet), removed the existing island and replaced with a custom one that the guys built, new quartz countertops, laminate flooring, new front door, new slider, whole house painted inside and out including staining our fiberglass garage door to give it a "wood" look. We were very happy with the whole project. Darrell and his crew are "good people". Very courteous, punctual and finished the job sooner than we expected which was very much appreciated. We would definitely hire them again.

Everything went well. From the total demolition of our old kitchen, to a complete redo, took 3 weeks. Gone are the lowered ceiling and fluorescent lights, well-worn dark cabinets, double sink (which I hated), blah-countertops/backsplash, and worn-out floor. We now have the kitchen that we wanted, with beautiful cabinets, lovely granite countertops and tile backsplash, much-improved lighting, nice floor, and an above-the-range microwave. Darryll and Heather are nice to work with, and gave us ideas when we had none. Their crew was very professional as well. We would be advised each day what they planned to do on the following day. We love our new kitchen. Hopefully we can have them back next year for a total bathroom remodel.

Darrell and crew did a fabulous job on my leaking deck which heavily damaged a bedroom ceiling below and adjoining bathroom. They were courteous, professional and went above and beyond tearing out the damage and rebuilding better than original. They've done a few other smaller jobs for me and I'm more than happy with their work.

I could not be more impressed! Darrel and his crew had their hands full because this bathroom literally had been built on a porch in the late 50's. They were super creative, hard and fast workers. Best bathroom put on a porch EVER! High five to Darrel, Jason, and Keith!!!

I had DH West Coast Construction remove and replace the double front doors. They arrived at 0930 and finished by 01600. They were very professional and kept the construction area clean. They are highly recommended by this home owner.

As first hand observers, we noted that the different DH crews and subcontractors exhibited the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism. Communication was excellent, beginning with the day we called Darrell to inquire about remodeling our home (he and Heather came the next day) and then email requests/updates with Heather both before the renovation started and throughout the project. We appreciated Heather's periodic emails indicating what would happen that day or week and then occasionally peek in on the action as it occurred. In general, it was a good interactive process that led to us to achieving the project we intended. The whole project was done in twelve weeks with minimal disruption while we stayed in the house. Owing to a handful of change orders to address items beyond what we'd originally scoped, the remodel was completed at 105% of the original bid. A lot of credit goes to Darrell and Heather for sending us to Creative Cabinet Designs and to Standard Floor and Paint to get our design choices and materials made before they offered us a bid. The upfront steps took us almost a month, but decision-making in that order gave us confidence in a more realistic bid from DH West Coast. Please take this review as a resounding recommendation for DH West Coast. They will be the first contractor we call should we take on another remodel project.

Darrell Hensley and crew painted the interior living areas of our 2 story home.   Darrell came immediately when I called for a bid, showed up when he said he would, emailed a bid within 2 hrs. He checked up again with us a day or two later to see if we had made a decision-came up with a very reasonable bid after we also received bids from 2 other competitors.  He is from Selah, so we were glad to find a Selah area business, and resident.  His staff performed as promised, showed up as promised with the correct color of paint and all supplies.  They bid the job as 2 days, but were able to complete it in 1 day-with great cleanup and great care with the detailing (patching, trim, etc).  The entire job was A+.

Amazing Job!  Daryl was very professional and honest in his recommendations.
He gave me an accurate quote and did minor extra work without hesitating at no additional charge.  
His work on painting my whole house inside was amazing with professional texturing, and the house looks like a new construction house again.  
He sent me before and after pictures and what a difference.

They came out to the house to do an estimate, and I liked them a lot. It was reasonable, and they were profession and personable.

I contacted DH West Coast to have them replace some damaged sheetrock, in my basement Mediaroom, on July 14th. DH called back to make an appointment to see exactly what needed repaired, appointment was scheduled for Thursday morning. They showed up, on time and Darrel said if I wanted them to do the work they could get started Friday morning.   

DH West Coast Construction showed up, on time, Friday morning and Darrel introduced me to his son Jason who was the lead man of the crew that consisted of Jason, Cody and Keith. these young men were fast and efficient. A very good testament to a 3 generation run family business. I also had DH West Coast add two electrical outlets, in the garage ceiling for 2 new garage door openers. Their electrician, Victor, was fast, efficient and friendly.

I, without any doubt, will be having DH West Coast Construction doing more remodeling of my house now and in the future. I highly recommend DH West Coast Construction.

Construction was completed in excellent time.  Good quality to work.
Exterior painting was completed in timely manner.  Quality work was OK.  House preparation for painting was not completed sufficiently, therefore when house was painted there were areas that needed to be redone.  Final inspection of work was needed by homeowner.  Business owner was very pleasant and had areas redone without hesitation.  Although contractor and employees were very pleasant and redid work without hesitation, it was of concern for homeowner to have to inspect to establish quality of work.  Therefore, since the homeowner's inspection established quality of work, small issues have been identified since work was completed.  The issue that I identified was that employees for house prep were young kids that were not focused on task that they were charged to complete.
Nexttime, I will inspect house prep with a closer eye and not assume that the contractor has an established standard of work quality.

They did an excellent job of detailed bidding and offered construction and design ideas that we used.  They have a good sense of style, color and understood our vision of the project.
The description of our experience is that once they started our project, they got several other projects going at the same time and did not maintain an efficient completion time.  We think the project took far longer to finish than we had planned.  The end result was excellent but we think it could have been done quicker.
The other suggestion was that they should do a better job of advising the customer when the project deviates from the original bid.  We made several change orders to the work that added significantly to the final price of the job.  It was our decision, we made the requests and they provided us with a detailed itemized invoice at job completion that was accurate but we would liked to have known in advance how far over budget we were getting.
We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality remodel and construction work.
