I really, really can't say enough about how happy I am with the work performed by Windows, Doors & More or Ryan Mitchell, who handled my account. While searching for windows, I found it really difficult to assess what I really wanted or how the windows would look unless I could be "hands-on" and see what they looked and felt like in person - before spending thousands of dollars (other than the cost of the house itself, windows are the most costly), I wanted to be certain that I was going to get what I wanted. While some window companies would bring samples of the one or two lines of windows they sell, Windows, Doors & More has a giant showroom with a ton of different brands and styles so that customers can compare and contrast options. This made a huge difference and helped me decide the particular brand I wanted (Andersen), the type/style (Architectural Series), and other options (color, post-installation painting of the wood clad, and installation of the Verilock system). Second, I wanted a company that would handle the entire process from soup to nuts so that if a problem ever arose in the future, I only needed to deal with one company to get things fixed. In short, I didn't want to contact my sales rep about a problem, only to be told that the problem was the installation, and then have the installer turn around and blame the window seller or the window company. Given the warranty on the windows and the fact that Windows, Doors & More sold me the products AND installed them, I'm better positioned to have a good outcome in the (hopefully unlikely) event that something ever does go wrong as I'll only need to work with them. TIP: Find a company (like Windows, Doors & More) that will provide comprehensive one-stop shopping and will take care of the entire process for you if you can. Third, Ryan was very hands-on and helped walk me through the process and the myriad options. He answered more questions than I could possibly count, worked with me as I considered different options from different companies, and provided first-class service throughout and following the installation process. When I showed up unannounced one day at the showroom while he was offsite as I weighed whether to have the windows factory painted or hand-painted after installation, another sales rep spend more than an hour with me talking through options and considerations. Fourth, the installation team was excellent - they showed up on time, cleaned up daily, were efficient, and ended up finished their work a day early. Finally, Ryan continues to check in on me to make sure everthing is working well. Bottom line ... I can't say enough about how great this experience was and highly recommend them.

Went great.  Were very easy to work with, helping to coordinate with renters and overseas landlord.  Very nice people.  Very good work.

Installation was started and completed shortly after we purchased the new French doors. The quality of the work was excellent. The work included a number of steps that I would have never considered. One such step was the shimming of the sill plate of the wall to level the wall to ensure proper opening and closing. Other work included electrical modifications, framing, drywall, and re-siding the exterior for a larger door opening. The workers were very courteous and provided an explanation of all their work. No stress involved!

They did a good job, were on time, and cleaned up. I subsequently had a problem with a leak in one window but they have been responsive to the issue.

We were disappointed with the company. They put the wrong wondows in twice. They had to visit ou rhouse 7 times and it took about 6 months to get it right. They were late, did not return calls and were not professional. When we finally put up the screens this summer, I was not suprised to learn that they were not the correct fit with the window either.

I thought they were very good. There are not a lot of people that fix windows and these guys do it and do a good job. I found them through another window company website. I made an appointment and they were very prompt, professional and neat with their work.

This company is minimally competent and downright mean. The windows and doors were estimated to be finished in 10 to 12 weeks, and it took over 4 months, and one window had to be redone 3 times-the first one broke, and the replacement window was shipped flawed from the manufacturer. They also did not keep in contact with the manufacturer during the process, further delaying the order. They did not send enough workers to install the window and so as not to delay the job any further, had my workman help them and then refused to pay him for his time. The man who recommended this company to me also has refused to use them again because of their poor workmanship and miserable customer service. One of the most disappointing companies I have ever worked with.

Not well. Original estimate suddenly went way up when we wanted to confirm our order. When we started talking to another supplier, prices suddenly came down again. After windows were installed, several of the windows did not close due to defective design/manufacture. One of us had to push from the outside while one pulled inside to do so! The original salesman came out to house to see them and assured us that these windows are the best. The hardware is German designed. We just need to make a few adjustments I felt like I was at a used car dealer. Additionally, the salesman failed to order tampered windows in required locations. Despite us having provided him with exact plans. Our cost to fix his mistake, of course. The end result is that we have had to hire an attorney to help us and our addition work is stalled. We are both architects and have specified tens of thousands of windows. We know defective windows when we see them.

The salesman seems to have ignored my original criteria for a window. He may have mis-measured the window (Windows Doors & More has not yet confirmed whether it was mis-measurement by them or a mistake by the manufacturer). I received the wrong type of window, a window for new contstruction rather than a retrofit. I received a window was the wrong dimensions. In width it is too wide, in height it is too short. Also, it is thicker than the thickness of the walls of my house. Wanted WD&M do the install, but salesman recommended CASE Handyman for install, after I received the window. I began discussions with WD&M immediately after learning about the problem with the window. Salesman told me I was stuck with the window because custom, no refunds, exchanges, other options, ideas or solutions. Business manager the same. The owner says Loewen will rebuild window if Loewen made dimension error. Otherwise, I'm stuck. WD&M will take no responsibility for their errors.

MEASURING WINDOWS WAS A BIT OF A PROBLEM - MATCHING ORIGINAL BOXES TO NEW CASINGS WAS TRICKY AND ULTIMATELY WE HAD TO GO ANOTHER ROUTE. THE REPLACEMENT WINDOWS - DOUBLE PANE, TRUE DIVIDE, WOOD WINDOWS MEASURING 5X8 AND 5X13 FIT BEAUTIFULLY.
