We are most pleased with the work that was done.  The workers were professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves.  On one occasion, a sub plumper was hired.  The project manager had not worked with this man before and when his work was determined to be sub-par and he didn't show up one day, he was fired.  We did not have to get involved in this, the project manager took care of the problem quickly and efficiently.  This is the second major remodel he have done with Westwood and I would not hsitate to use this company again for any work we need to have done in the future.  Prior to having this remodel done, I consulted with a real estate agent  to see how best to bring our 1970s house up to date.  When the remodel was finished, she came back and was so impressed with the work that she and her husband hired Westwood to do their major remodel.

Jeff (the owner) is from Seattle, but he was on vacation in the Phoenix area. His son, who lives here, mentioned that Jeff would always be happy to help a retired codger like myself with the few small things that, to me, make a world of difference. As I understand it Jeff and his crew usually work larger jobs, but his son said he is always happy to take small ones. Sure enough, Jeff took what little spare time he had on his vacation to do some basic electrical work, install a grab bar in the bathroom for leverage when I need to stand, and put in a new toilet for me. He is a master electrician, but he mentioned that also being a professional plumber and an ex general contractor proved to be useful for small jobs like this one. I'm writing this review because he expressed interest in finding more work in the Phoenix area. He has my vote.

This project involved rewiring three rooms in a kitchen remodel. A small kitchen and large family room were converted into an upscale kitchen with an island, a bar/eating area and smaller family room. There was extensive pre-planning involved with an architect. The company owner anticipated problems before beginning the project and worked out solutions with the architect before a single nail was pounded. Not only did he provide assistance in the planning but he has an eye for design and placement which helped us considerably. Additionally, he has a group of subcontractors who are excellent. Everyone who worked on the three month project was professional, polite, on-time and did a great job. All inspections by the city went smoothly. We are delighted with the results and plan on using this company again for our master bedroom and bath remodel this summer.
