Very well. They identified a problem we had not been aware of: part of the roof was rotted. They recommended a roofer who was prompt, reasonable, and efficient, and they installed the solar panels quickly after that. They took care of inspections and all the bureaucratic work that sometimes makes for headaches. Not only would I recommend them to friends--I already have!

There was only one minor issue with installation which they were able to resolve in a few weeks. The bigger issue is that the amount of solar production that I have gotten for the first year has been about half of what they had estimated(9.5 instead of 18). This makes the recoup of the investment go from something like 10-12 years to more like 30. I have tried to contact them to understand where the issue has come from and they are not responding. I would definitely not recommend this company based on their apparent inexperience or dishonesty with regard to how much power you will be getting from the installed system.

They're experienced and they know what they were doing not only in terms of putting a physical installation but in working with the local government and in stirring us through the various tax breaks that we can get. They were not the lowest cost but it was still pretty good. They're always here when they said they would be.

They were great. They came the day before Labor Day and put the mounting brackets on my roof. On Labor Day they actually got everything installed and actually working. They had an electrician come and wire them in to my panel that day. By the end of the second day, everything was operational and I was getting electricity. It is a family business. There were 5 of them that actually did all of the work. They had it all set up and did the work in a day. They did a real good job. The other companies that I called were actually a little higher for what they were doing but the prices change so fast, it is hard to tell. They practically came the very next day after I called them. They came right away at the time they said they would be here and they were very quick about getting the job done. They were neat. I may actually use them to put a wind turbine on.

It went well. They finished quickly and efficiently. The work looks good. It passed the city's inspection and has performed well since it was installed in March, 2013. We are receiving $940 rebate from City Light this year, which will be applied to next year's electric bill. We could have cash if we prefer. Our electric bill for May and June was $1.42. We are very satisfied with the system. We may even install more panels since there is more room on our roof.

This little company's quality of everything especially labor and courteousness is impressive, especially Ryan Hughes, the guy in charge of actual work. They took care of everything including permitting, rebate homework, communications with PSE for net metering and state inspection. Contract simple and easy to understand. I produce over 4 KwH annually, use about 60 percent of it, and receive a PSE rebate of about $2,000 every September for what I send to the local grid. All equipment has worked flawlessly, though Power One should update its little power monitor technology which has been surpassed by vendors' stuff. Customers want to show off what they're creating.  No-hole rack mounting remains solidly glued to shingles. Inverter testing cycle has never shown a single error.

I am totally impressed with this company, I highly recommend them!  Their no-nonsense approach to quotes made it easy to understand the costs and return on investment.  Both the info on their website and what was explained to me and put on paper was just right -- enough to explain, but not overwhelming on detail or options.  They recommended the equipment combination they beleive is the best quality, value, and technology based on their experience.  Plus I am confident I got an excellent price -- which made all the difference for me.  When I first called for a quote, they responded with a site visit, gave me a firm price, and sent me the contract to review very quickly (within a few days), and were willing and able to accomodate my schedule for the installation (the next week!). 
I shopped around quite a bit before deciding on West Seattle Natural Energy.  I have had site visits and have requested quotes from several companies and non-profits over the last couple of years.  With others it often took weeks just to get a quote. These experts gave me so many options at wildly varying prices (all being too expensive!) and somehow as a novice I was supposed to decide on an option.  And then it might be months before the installation could actually happen -- or some unknown time frame.  Do you see why I was so impressed with West Seattle?  
The installation crew was great!  They were mosly big guys who looked kind of tough, but they were really sweet, friendly, and respectful.  They showed up a little earlier than scheduled, and got done earlier than scheduled.  No damage was done to the yard or anything in the process.  Later I asked a manager from my roofing company to inspect the roof to make sure there wouldn't be any problems with leaks because of the solar installation.  He was really impressed with the solar installation.  He said in his 30 years experience looking at roofs, this was one of the best PV installation jobs he had ever seen!  He said no roof tiles were disturbed at all.         
After West Seattle NR recommended this particular combination of panels, inverters, etc, my electronics-major techno-geek husband spent a day researching the specs on the equipment and comparing it to other options out there.  He was convinced it was the best combination of equipment available today, and said he wouldn't have wanted anything else.  We love being able to monitor the productivity of the PV system from our iPhones!  It's great for sharing our joy with friends and family!  :-)
