Jean-Luc came out to give an estimate. He was very friendly and professional, taking time to explain the work and also to answer all my questions, many of which were about general tree health/maintenance and not necessarily related to the work we wanted done.
The estimate was very nicely broken out by line item, and the price was reasonable for the work that was being done. Other estimates we received were either not as detailed (one was simply a number scribbled on a piece of paper) or not competitive price-wise.
The work was scheduled for a Friday and we weren't required to be there for it to be done. When I returned home from work at the end of the day, everything looked great, the work was done as we had discussed the previous week, and the yard was immaculate - no branches or other miscellaneous refuse laying in the yard from the day's activity.
Even though it was a small job, Vitalitree was prompt and friendly when responding to email. Would definitely recommend and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.
The service went great--I did not need to be onsite for them to work. I simply came home from work and had much more sunlight making it into my front yard.
There was no mess other than some cedar-shavings around where the pine tree was removed.
