Victor worked with my daughter and son in law to install new skylights to replace a glass covered solarium roof. He created a beautiful pine soffit. The workmanship was impeccable. He was amenable to suggestions and pleasant to work with.

Had "open" doorway to bedroom that I wanted a door installed into, which required some work as the doorway gap was larger than the door. End result turned out exactly as desired, great service and pleasant experience overall.

They quickly came out to see what needed to be done and returned with a crew two days later to quickly get the job done. Victor and his crew were hard working and a joy to work with.

victor was incredibly responsive & an excellent communicator. it's really difficult to find carpenter/contractors right now but he got back to me quickly, gave me a lot of options & got the project moving & finished really quickly. i've added him as my go-to guy for our house projects.

Not only did Victor have the best price and the fastest timeline, he was also the best communicator out of every contractor I've met so far. He keeps you updated by phone and text, and sends you a Google Maps tracker when he's on his way, so you'll know exactly when to expect him. (No more late arrivals or huge 4-hour windows like other contractors.) He was patient and explained everything to me in detail, and never made me feel dumb or rushed as a first-time home owner. My popcorn ceilings were out in 3 days, we're about to refinish them, and I'll be hiring him for other projects as well!

I had a not-great experience with VM construction. Jeff from VM construction contacted me and I believe if he has followed up with me more often it would have been a better experience. Jeff did contacts me to try to make it right after the project ended. My 2 cents is to keep Jeff in the loop. Also, if Andrew is your go-to person, call and get someone else. My issues were mostly with Andrew, his lack of follow-through, and his attitude. I would also say to make sure you are 100% happy with the work. My project was quoted to be 6 days tops took over 3 months. It did not take that long because there were more issues or anything it is simply because Andrew did not follow through with what he said will happen and when. The only reason it is finally done is that I texted Andrew the construction manager weekly wondering why his guys never showed on the arranged days.

Very professional and experienced in their craft, I would call them again for our next project.
