I was amazed to see the guys carrying everything out, even boxes that I knew I had over packed and were too heavy. They did not complain once, and they were literally sprinting back from the truck back in to get more out. The truck from the other house showed up before they were done at our old place, and the guys from the other crew all ran and started helping as well. It no wonder the guys are so fit. The guys were joking around with each other, and they were extremely nice and had smiles on their faces the entire time. They helped try to move furniture around in the new place and arrange things nicely even after they were off the clock. They gave us an estimate of how much it would cost when they arrived to the old place, and the final tally was well underneath that. I've always had bad luck with movers and the moving experience, but trico long distance movers has changed that. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. The manager was friendly on the phone and was under priced compared to the other movers. Words can't describe how thankful we are.

The morning of the move the crew leader called me to let me know what time they'd be arriving and they were on time. He and I walked through and I pointed out the items that were going to be moved and the guys got started right away. There were three movers and the crew leader, I was expecting two movers and a crew leader so that was a pleasant surprise. The movers shrink wrapped and blanketed everything and were careful to keep wall scuffing to an absolute minimum. All the guys were very nice and polite. These guys were like a whirlwind, they packed everything up and into the truck (2 bedrooms, washer/dryer, table/chairs, bookcase, etc) in exactly one hour. Once we got to the new house the items were unloaded, unwrapped, and in their places in record time, it wasn't even a whole hour and they moved some of the old junk out of the house and into the garage for me. Like most people, I hope to be in the current house for a very long time, but if I ever move again I wouldn't consider another company. I would 100% hire Trico long distance movers again. The crew leader gave me an itemized invoice showing the charge which was exactly what was quoted to me initially. Stress and hassle free.

Here are the pros I truly appreciated: The inventory based pricing model suited my needs. They calculated my rate based on the number of luggage/boxes/furniture I had instead of charging me based on hours. The rate is very reasonable and also more affordable for college students like me. Call them beforehand to have a quote; if the number of your moving pieces goes beyond what you originally had in the quote, your rate might increase a little, but at a reasonable & fair rate. I was not aware of this pricing model until the gentleman over the sales phone line introduced this to me which helped me save a decent amount of money. Very, very nice, helpful, efficient, and professional movers. Stephen, Jimmy, and Calvin moved my old apartment really quickly. Plus,they had experience in disassembling and assembling IKEA beds quickly and carefully (which I had so much concern over with before contacting a moving company; be sure to ask your moving company if they are able to handle IKEA beds because they require special assembling cares). They also handled all my furniture with great care. My new apartment does not have elevators. These three gentlemen carried all my luggages, boxes, and furnitures using stairs (4th floor), with very high efficiency and care (considering its raining outside that day). They were truly helpful and nice.  I would highly recommend trico long distance movers to my friends. If I need to move again, I would definitely contact them.

I spoke with James on the phone on that Monday and he came to do the estimate the same day! We set the moving date to Tuesday and we were off! Not only did they move me, but they packed my entire 3 bedroom + loft which I had NOT prepped at all! They were packed and out in only 5.5 hours and we drove another 7 hours to my new place. This was so so much more quick and efficient that even I hoped for! The entire moving team were totally careful with my things and were complete experts in effective packing/moving. They were also dressed in a uniform, which was pretty cool. They listed to all my confusing directions and never had to ask twice! The long distance move was a success. No fuss, no frills company. Everything arranged over the phone in one simple call. Turned up exactly on time on the day and carried out the move efficiently. This was a simple move but long distance from one state to another 504 miles away.  Very pleased with the service and will use them next few years when we move back. They knew their stuff and for the price it would be hard to beat this company given the quality of the service provided. I'd never used a mover before and I think it's definitely worth the money - moving is stressful enough without having to carry everything and fit it all in a huge van! Definitely a ten out of ten, would also recommend them to friends and family. I would definitely recommend Trico Long Distance Movers!  They were so friendly, helpful and easy to work with.  This started with my estimate - I requested an estimate online through their website and literally within minutes I received a phone call from James.  He was super helpful and amazingly was able to get us a team of movers THE NEXT DAY.  The team of 3 guys,  arrived on time and they worked HARD. Although I told James that we mostly needed furniture moved and some boxes, they showed up with extra boxes (that we ended up needing!), tons of tape, and so much plastic wrap.  They were pleasant, respectful, and helpful.  Everything arrived a few days later undamaged and in one trip.  Definitely use these guys when you need to move long distance.

I selected Trico Long Distance Movers because of my best friend who Shipped his his furniture half way across the country. He gave me many reference numbers also to check about their service, however my friend's reference was good enough for me so didn't feel the need to really check them. Before I finalized my move with Chris, the manager, I called up and they did make a great impression on me to just from their professionalism and see they care about their customers.

I was very satisfied talking with mr Chris, he was very good at following up and making sure to keep me up to date with my long distance move, very nice person indeed,  my move was a complete success, everything reached it's destination in good condition! When I got to the new location Trico Long Distance Movers started to help unpack the goods and move all furniture to where I requested. Special thanks to Chris and he assist me not to charge anything extra and unpacked all my goods, I want to let people know his generosity, God bless him, and if someone from his higher authority reading this review, must give him good appreciation for his work.
