About us
The roots of the Electric Company can be traced back to 1979 when founder Stephen Brandeis first began doing business under that name, providing electrical services to his local community. Where did the name come from? His kids will tell you that he was inspired by one of their favorite TV shows from that era, The Electric Company. When the family moved to Seattle in the early 1990s the name came with them, and since then the business has grown and more family members have joined the team. We're proud to be family owned and operated, and we want our customers and employees to feel like family too. If there's ever anything we can do to help just let us know. We're right there when you need us!

They called me back on a Sunday. I set up an appointment for Monday morning at 7 AM to install one light fixture I had plus fix and check the other one in the kitchen. He was on time you got the work done quickly. I was quoted a flat rate for one hour of work so it was clear simple and easy. Definitely recommend this company.

very trustworthy company. The owner of the company is quite unique, he takes the calls and has your best interests at heart. His electricians have the highest level of of license. yet, they are charging a modest fee compared to their competition. I've got a fair bit of experience with contractors in Seattle so hopefully my review/advice is useful.

Replaced recessed kitchen sink overhead light fixture and bathroom ceiling recessed exhaust fan with light and heater fan. Work done in one short afternoon after efficient location of parts for the job including identical parts for the ceiling fan for replacement without needing to replace the housing in the attic. It all works like new.

As a retired guy it is tough to part with the money it cost but the job was too overwhelming for an amateur. Now that the fixture is installed (correctly) I can enjoy it more. I call it an investment because the payoff is the complements the fixture draws from guests who see it.
