Michael was really great. Fantastic even. He really went above and beyond, did great work, and for an exceptional price. I was so pleased, I asked him to do some more work --  I highly recommend Michael Chima and his team.

I’ve already recommended Superior Gardening Services to my friends. I have a difficult lawn because it has a lot of shade, but they’ve been able to deal with that issue well. I’ll certainly continue to use their services in the future.

Very well.  Michael was out in the neighborhood to give a quote to a neighbor, and I asked him if he would give me a quote, as well.  He did, and I subsequently got at least one other competitive quote for comparison.  The other guy was crazy-expensive (at least 1.5-2x more), and I went with Michael.  He came by within a couple of days to do the work.  He initially needed an extra cu yd of covering mulch that made the final cost more than the quote, but the results showed it was obviously needed.  

Maintenance work was painless and I only made one specific request that a tree be trimmed on the next visit.  By the time I left town (prior to homesale), I was confident that the work would be done well in my absence with no supervision.

I found Superior Gardening Service on Angie's List and called them. I was called back within a day and a day after that Mr. Michael Chima showed up, and we went over the entire garden together - and, as it happened, my son-in-law (who lives acros the street with my daughter) showed up and was so impressed with Mr. Chima, that he, too, hired him to do the same for them.

On June 14th Mr. Chima showed up with a crew of very fine, hard working men whom he supervised and with all the necessary equipment in good order - a pickup truck and a large truck for hauling away the considerable amount of debris.. They all worked very hard from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon - and I was in a state of shock at how wonderful my entire garden looked. Not only did they do all that I mentioned above, they also prepared beds for plantings, which they will be doing in the next few weeks. I am impressed with Mr. Michael Chima - his intelligence and knowledge of horticulture - and his relationship with his crew, who are nice people, proud of their work, proud of their boss, who, one of them told me, is a very good and very intelligent boss.
My son-in-law was also quite pleased.

I intend to have Mr. Chima - Superior Gardening - maintain my lawn on a bi-weekly basis, and I thank Angie's List for helping me to find him.

Superior Gardening was one of three bids sought.  Michael Chima came out promptly to survey our yard and provide a written estimate.  He offered helpful advice but did not try to push us towards more expensive options.  He inspired confidence, and we were glad that his estimate was the most reasonable.  Scheduling the work was easy because he was flexible and quickly available.  On the appointed day Michael and his crew showed up on time and worked steadily until the job was completed.  The quality of materials they provided -- soil, sod, mulch, and drain rock -- was superior.  In fact, our thick, lush lawn is now the envy of our neighborhood.  They did professional work and cleaned up after themselves.  I would hire them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.   

They arrived on Thursday afternoon and mowed the lawn and started the dethatching.  They returned on Friday morning and finished working on the lawn and power washed the paved area.

They are excellent. They work quickly and keep our small seattle yard looking great. When we need fertilizer they let us know and apply it. They will also add mulch and other items when I ask.

I was impressed that he understood what all the plantings were. He didn't take out anything we wanted to keep and got removed all the weeds by hand. It would have taken me a month of weekends to to the same work. He came out a week after giving the estimate with a crew of 4 guys. He came back 4 days later to finish up. He is open to working without herbicides but will also use them if you want. We agreed it was the best thing to use to get the weeds out from in between the pavers in out back yard.

They are great! The come on time, work quickly, and do an excellent job.

I have used Michael for the last two years. I keep using him because of his attention to detail.

I can't speak highly enough of the service that Michael Chima and his team provided on *very* short notice! Michael came to the house promptly the day after I called him. We are selling our home and needed some landscaping work done - pronto! I pointed all of the things out that I needed, and he mentioned another handful of things that should be done. I told him that we couldn't afford more. He quoted me $327 for all of it. Little did I know that the quote was for *everything* that we discussed. It then rained for 2 days, but the first clear (but COLD) morning, he and his crew arrived bright and early. The 4 men ROCKED the entire yard, and Michael himself came back out 2 times (the pressure washer wasn't working the first time), to clean off both patios and our driveway. I offered a $50 tip for the hard work. I would TOTALLY hire this crew again! The work was fast and very detailed and I think the overall price was MORE than fair. On top of that, Michael was a very classy and calm gentleman, soft of voice and extremely hard working. His team was friendly and worked well together - and again... it was very quick! If I'd known that it was this reasonable and this easy to get the worst of the yard taken care of, I would have done it years ago!

They are very thorough. They pay attention to detail, and do not cut trees or shrubs back too far. They are very responsive and their service is a great value, and their prices are very reasonable. They come when they say they will, and they work is done efficiently.

I don't know how to rate this. They do a very good job on my lawn. They do charge extra for trimming and other services which I don't like and I have a hard time communicating with the owner. It is a language barrier thing. I like their work, but when our landscaping work is finished, I think we're going to use another company and not rehire these guys.

THE WORK WAS COMPLETED TO OUR SATISFACTION. THE YARD WASN'T 100% CLEANED-UP, BUT IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH, CONSIDERING THE EXTENT OF THE LEAVES WE HAVE.

EXCELLENT COMPANY WHICH IS RELIABLE. PERFORMS FUNCTIONS REQUESTED AND CALLS TO REMIND FOR SEASONAL YARD NEEDS SUCH AS FERTILIZING AND MULCHING. CUTS TREE AND BUSHES ALSO. TOTAL TIME FOR SERVICE WAS 6.5 HOURS.

COMPANY BILLING IS ACCURATE. INVOICES ARE PROMPT. DON'T LIKE THE 'DUE UPON RECEIPT' PAYABLE THOUGH. NET 30 WOULD BE BETTER. YARD WORK IS WELL DONE. TWO OR THREE PERSON TEAMS MAKE IT GO QUICKLY.
