Stetner Auto Body & Painting

Work took longer than estimated due to more damage being discovered after body work commenced. Quality of workmanship very good, and Stetner handled securing the rental car and all communication with insurance on coverage and cost. Stetner was the closest body shop to my residence, so all around easy, convenient, and satisfied with the work performed.

Very well -- excellent workmanship, customer service and quality. I was very pleased with the overall experience  -- very friendly and responsive.

They were very professional and the price was very fair.

I was rear-ended and went in, had an estimate done, had the work done. The other person's insurance paid for it. Everything went well. They even vacuumed my very dirty car (I have two young children and lots of snacks stuck to the back seats). Anyway, I was pleased. Then a while later I pulled into a parking space and got my fender hooked on the concrete strip at the top of space. When I backed up it pulled off my fender. Gah! It was dragging and I stopped in to Stetner and asked for some help. They bolted it back on right then and there. The whole thing took 10 minutes and they didn't even charge me. It was really so nice of them. I was so grateful. Very happy with their service.

I took my car to Stetenr Auto body for an estimate. They seemed professional and reasonable. I took my car there for needed repairs. They were both friendly and professional. My car was ready when they told me it would be and the workmanship was excellent. I would definnitely recommend their services.

The only delay was for some protective film for the headlights that had originally come with the car.

I would recommend them and go back to them.  Fortunately, in this situation, the other driver's insurance paid for everything.

Excellent work, completed on time and within budget

We arranged to have our car towed to Stetner Auto Body after the accident and shortly after the car arrived at their shop I got a call from Kurt Stetner just letting me know it was there and he would call me back as soon as they had an idea when the parts would arrive and an estimate of when it would be done. I heard back from him within a couple days with a date when the car would be ready which was less than 2 weeks out. A few days before it was to be finished I got a call from Kurt informing me that he had discovered a serious issue with rust and corrosion in the strut tower housing he patiently explained in detail what this meant  and said " he could not in good conciensce fix only the accident related repairs approved by the insurance co. and give us back the vehicle and say it is safe to put our family in".He advised putting the repairs on hold and informing the insurance company to see how to proceed. He said he was going to take pictures to send to the claims adjuster,and wanted us to come over to take a look. We did and we were shocked how bad it was and surprised that our regular car repair guy had never mentioned noticing corrosion. We were very upset..... the insurance would not pay for the rust related damage, we were not sure that even with the repair that  there was not more unseen corrosion doing  or having done damage.After weighing the cost for us to fix the add'l repair and  the possibility of add'l rust damage, we decided to not repair it. We then began looking in to the auction option suggested by the ins. co.Kurt  assured us he would not charge us for storage as we looked into all of our options and worked thru a particularly busy time in our business.During this time we received a recall notice which warned of this very thing in vehicles from 1996-2004 (Pathfinder & Infinti) hmmm the recall notices had been sent starting in April and we rec'd ours in late Aug!! Thus began more research.Kurt @ Stetner was amazingly patient and concerned about our dilemna. We eventually payed Stetner for the tear down costs, parts that were unreturnable and the towing chgs from the tow co. to Stetner. These chgs were covered by the ins. co. We then had the vehicle towed to a Nissan dealer for the next phase of pursuing resolution on the recall. The Nissan was eventually "deemed unrepairable" . We are extremely grateful to Kurt @ Stetner for his honesty and integrity and would recommend them highly to anyone. I will use them for any auto body work needed in the future without question.

Sean seemed very thorough in his estimate, discussing options of dealer or reconditioned parts and other cost-saving choices since this was not going to be paid by insurance.  It took about a week to get an appointment.  They did exactly what I asked them to do, got it done early, and more than meets my expectations.

They are absolutely fabulous! They are professional, fast, and do an excellent job!

I had gotten three bids from other shops. One said we wouldn't have to replace the door because they believed the internal support bars were not damaged. Of course, if they had found them damaged when they got into it, it would cost more. Their bid was cheaper but we opted for Stetner's because they were closest to our home and the Toyota Dealership, where we take the car for service, had recommended them. I liked the fact that I could drive right in and get an estimate rather than making an appointment and come back, as I had to do with another shop.

They do a magnificent job at a reasonable rate. They are also recommended by a reputable insurance company.

The Stetner rep Shawn was professional throughout. The service and phone calls are prompt and concise. Price was right and its hard to find a shop like this these days that will go the extra mile to make the customer happy. Highly recommended.
