We couldn't be happier with the work that Cathy and her team did for us. We had an old red brick fireplace that ran all the way up to the ceiling and we wanted to replace it with a more modern fireplace and a space to hang a 60" TV. From the first visit, through the demo, coordinating with the granite vendor and fireplace insert vendor, Cathy took care of everything. She is very easy to work with and really cares about the finished product. We would highly recommend Cathy and Seattle Mantel Shoppe.

I got a new electric service on the outside of house and she finished off the framing and repaired drywall inside along with some insulation. She was fast, well priced, & personable. I am having her come back and install new light fixtures on the outside of my house. Very happy with Cathy.

I am beyond thrilled with Cathy's work and her professionalism. I would absolutely go to her again for any additional updates in my house and I have already recommended her to a friend at my office. Hiring a contractor is always a leap of faith and I am not only so happy with the end result, but the entire process was so easy because that is just how Cathy works.

It was a pleasure working with Cathy Fleury. Her years of experience put me at ease about our project. She is so easy to work with! I had another person come in and look at our fireplace but he was unable to figure out how to get the ledge adhered to my brick fireplace. Cathy walked in and knew immediately what to do. She even suggested a wood (walnut) that she thought would blend into the color scheme and she called it! The grain of the walnut is stunning.
I felt the cost of the job was very fair given her experience, knowledge, talent, and artistry.
Cathy is very professional and gets the job completed in the proposed time frame. I had no clean up after the job to contend with, she did it all. Cathy takes great pride in her craft. and business.
I have a list of projects that I'd like to complete in the future and I will be contacting Cathy again.

She was very nice but we had problems. She put in the window but did not put in a privacy window. She did swap this out and replaced it. She told me that my tile was not available and it would take weeks to get it. She them recommended a tile company I picked out tiles there. She stated that she was having trouble with the tiles and it was taking her longer because they kept breaking. The tiles did turn out nice. When she repaired the walls, some of the holes she textured and some she did not. Some places are good and other patches do not look good. We also had trouble when she installed the shower door. She stated that with the new door she would have to saw down to get it to fit and it would cost more. I told her just to use the old door which she had to do work to get it fit. I just felt that she was just trying to make more money. The end result was not what I expected. We also had no water when she finished because she could not install a tub faucet which I had to hire a plumber to do.

I did the demo of the old fireplace face. Than she completed the job, on time. She and her helper arrived every morning by 8:30 am and worked until 4 or 5 pm. She has great attention to detail. Cathy does a wonderful job and was very easy to have in our home. We are VERY happy with our new fireplace and recommend her without reservation.

Cathy did a wonderful job. She communicated well, was actively engaged in the whole process from design to installation. I had an idea of what I wanted, but she really helped figure out a challenging yet elegant design.
Cathy communicated very well. She always returned my calls and emails in a timely fashion. She did the work on time and her price was very reasonable.

Cathy is an expert craftsman. She is exceptional! I didn't have to worry if she was going to show up like some contractors I hired during my complete remodel. She is well organized and listened to all of my concerns and desires regarding the custom mantle she was building. I was very pleased and honored to have had her build the mantle for our home. It looks amazing! The price was good too. You just can't go wrong by hiring her and you will be glad you did.

I really didn't have an idea what would work in the space we had, but she worked with me, showed me some options, and worked with our gas insert installation company to figure out a plan that would work and would look good. She also recommended several places to go for tile - and they were all great to work with also.
Most impressive was the professionalism she demonstrated while executing the job. Our fireplace is in our kitchen area, and she did a fabulous job creating a closed work area so as to keep the mess contained and not take over our entire kitchen for the week. She started and finished the job within a week. We love our new fireplace and mantel and are so grateful for finding Cathy.

Cathy did an amazing job. She was prompt, pushed to get things done on time, and her craftsmanship on the mantle was outstanding. She totally transformed our living room. We added on some extra painting work, and she graciously squeezed it in her schedule. I would recommend Cathy for any job. She does fantastic work.

Cathy created a simple but elegant built-in wooden desk and matching bookshelf in a rich dark finish. She paid close attention to the fine details and came up with ingenious solutions for the quirks of the space. Now the study is both beautiful, organized, and conducive to getting work done. She worked to keep costs down while creating an elegant professional office.
