When I first called Nick provided some suggestions to try over the phone before it was determined a visit was needed. He arrived on time and even called beforehand to confirm the time of arrival. He went right to work and figured out the button on the wall was the culprit of my garage door light not working. He replaced the button and everything worked!
When I need my garage door and springs replaced I'll be calling Nick again.

My garage door had a cable break at 3 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon -- leaving the garage door incompletely closed and totally inoperable. I was able to reach Nick by phone and he was gracious enough to work me into his schedule late in the day on a Saturday -- the same day. He promised to call when he was on his way to my house, which he did. I was very impressed and extremely satisfied: Nick is a really pleasant guy and a careful, hard worker. He got the job finished in 2 hours (thanks to his willingness to stay late on a Saturday evening and his well-stocked truck) -- totally exceeding my expectations. Total cost: very, very reasonable. I'd recommend Nick to all of my friends, and will. There should be an A+ rating on Angie's List for people like Nick Neary.

Excellent. As I started to open my garage door this morning a cable snapped. This is an old door, and fortunately when Nick installed a new opener last year he put safety restraints on the springs. So instead of my possibly being injured by a flying spring I was just surprised by a loud noise. Nick showed me the cables last year and said they would wear out eventually, but we both agreed to let them stay in place since there was no way to know how long they would last. I called Nick this morning about the problem, and he came out this afternoon and installed new cables and plates where they attach to the door. He was in and out in 45 minutes.
This was the third time Nick has come, and he's always very responsive, informative and fun to talk to. I would highly recommend him for any garage door work.

I was having trouble getting my garage door to close flush to the frame. Nick, the owner of Same Day Doors, came out and assessed the situation, laying out different options we could try (replacing the motor being the most expensive). He ended up accomplishing the task at relatively little cost to me, by making adjustments to the motor and torsion springs. He made 2 visits to make sure everything was working fine. I never felt pressured to buy anything from him. In fact, Nick always worked with me to find a solution that wouldn't cost me much. I didn't have to replace anything and the problem got solved. I recommend Nick (Same Day Doors) without reservation.
