I've been working with Brad on multiple successful landscape projects for about 8 years. As I landscape architect, I design landscapes and they install them. He and the crew are good communicators, know their products and how to implement them. They are timely, have good prices, clean up after themselves and leave customers happy. The most recent project they are working on is a gorgeous bluestone multi-circular patio. The craftsmanship this patio is great and the client was so happy she was jumping up and down! You'll be happy with Salmon Bay too.

I called Brad at Salmon Bay Landscaping and he came out the next day to look. His bid was LESS than HALF of the other three bids I received. Two days later his crew showed up. They were incredibly meticulous. They added topsoil, raked the area level, tamped down the soil, leveled it again and laid the sod. Then they watered it thoroughly.
I watched them work and was very pleased to see that they were all very safety conscious as well. They were working next to a sidewalk and were careful to place their tools in a way that no passer-by could trip over them.
One of the workers took the time to answer all of my questions and he made sure to tell me how to keep it healthy.
The job was so perfect that one of the neighbors came over to see if it was artificial turf! The grass could not have more lush and green. One month later it is still perfect.

They gave us a solid bid, arrived on time, finished on time and left the place looking great.

for the size of the project it went well it took about 3 days longer than expected due to the old walls but i wasn,t charged more for the extra work when they were done it looked so nice and i was very pleased

Our project sort of rambled timewise, but that was as much our doing as Brad's. His foreman, Dick, is an excellent craftsman and a very hard worker. Other assistants were not so reliable, but the end result was completely satisfactory and has gathered numerous compliments from friends, neighbors, and folks passing by. Brad is a very easy guy to work with - the only real difficulty is that he's so eager to please he sometimes loses his focus. This is not the worst characteristic we've ever found in a contractor! We have another project coming up and plan on hiring this company again.

Extremely poor workmanship. Brad labeled the bid and then cut every corner he could. Block retaining wall was built without proper drainage. Some fence post footings were dug too shallow and poured around wisteria vines. Pavers were laid crooked and without any edge retainers. Soil for sod was improperly prepared and sod laid was of very poor quality. Sod laid in October has barely survived and looks terrible. Brad swore up and down they'd replace the sod but quit returning our calls without doing the work. Brad chronically underestimated time/effort to finish tasks, and had his crew regrade yard, build rock wall, and plant large trees without any machinery. I feel sorry for his crew -- they did what they could but under constant pressure from Brad to cut corners and move on to other jobs regardless of the quality of the work they did on our project. Avoid them for anything more complicated than trimming the odd shrub.
