All was going well until we had a signed offer. Buyer came back with ridiculous inspection results which were designed to finance his plan to rent out the house. Our agent kept us at the table long after we should have told the buyer to walk away, had us scared and did not do any of the work to rebut the offer. She had us call the buyer's contract estimate, she had me contact my own contractors and she offered no advice on what to do other than "we need to decide how to respond". In retrospect she did not counsel us well and she was advocating for the buyer not her client.
We asked to activate her cancellation guarantee but she refuses. Her managing broker who is supposed to be the one that we complain to has taken her side and told us that there is no way he will release the listing.
I would not recommend this office to anyone unless they are a seasoned real estate purchaser or seller and only need someone to give a large commission to. If you are looking for knowledge, advice and someone that will advocate unreservedly for their client, go elsewhere.
