Reglaze did the window replacement at my work and I saw firsthand their work product, care, and expertise. There were some difficult windows in our offices (we work in a converted house) and they were able to handle them with no problem, restoring the integrity of the structure in all cases. I was so impressed that when it was time to replace windows in my personal home I contacted Reglaze to see if they could give me a quote. Pete came out to the house and talked me through our project to replace 8 windows. He did a great job of setting expectations, talking me through options and even talked me out of replacing a couple windows that were in excellent condition. I really appreciated that (he was so right). Reglaze’s quote came in lower than the others that I had obtained and I knew they did good work so I hired them. We live in a 93 year old house with a stucco exterior. To say we always encounter problems with home improvement projects would be an understatement. One company came to do a quote, saw the stucco and left saying “sorry we don’t do stucco houses”. We had several windows we knew would be problematic. One was a homemade double pane window that was completely crumbling between the two layers of glass, one window had been water damaged years prior, several windows had never been able to open since installation 40 years ago, and more issues. We talked through our concerns with Pete and his crew and I prepared for the worst. Reglaze got to work. They were so very careful in our home making sure to cover and protect everything around the work site. I felt completely comfortable letting them work while I was at the office and they provided excellent communication during the project. They tackled each window with skill and care and I was in awe each night when I came home. The workmanship was top notch. The homemade and crumbling window looked absolutely perfect, like it should have looked when the house was built. One window had to have a completely new sill and window box built to fix a previous poor installation and it was a masterpiece. Every day I marvel at how good it looks, like it is original to the house. The guys did a beautiful job. I had planned for overages due to our tricky job (that is usually the case for projects on our house) but they came in on budget and the work was impeccable. I would recommend Reglaze to everyone! Especially if you have a difficult job like we did. From our first phone call to invoicing, everything was smooth and they were all a pleasure to work with.

Reglaze did excellent work and I definitely recommend them.   They are understandably very busy and there was a wait of about 8 weeks for the installation, but that was not a problem on this job.  All of their staff are very professional and competent.  They even noticed a small scratch on one of the new windows (I might not have even noticed it) and arranged for Milgard to do a no cost warranty replacement on that unit.  I was impressed with Reglaze (and also Milgard by the way)  in every respect.

PURE AWESOME!
I interviewed several major window installers in the local Seattle area and chose Reglaze after very careful consideration based on research, price and my BS meter. Of course everyone says their windows and installation process are the best but no one has 35 years of local service to reference from the same installers and same business owners over that entire period.
The job was beautifully done in a timely manner. They were professional and a very likable team. The two owners were here. One installs and the other is a carpenter with expert touch. They also had a 3rd guy who did most of the caulking and tear out.
All our windows had ugly tile for casements and since it's a 1955 built house there was water damage under some of them. They rebuilt the entire window encasement's with fur on the inside and cedar on the outside. The detail work was exceptional (see included pictures)!  I must have complimented them a dozen times during their work. They picked up as they went and made sure not to let my dog out.
Conclusion:
When looking for window installation you'd be hurting yourself not to check with these guys first.

They were great both times. They offer lots of choices, and the prices are very competitive. When they install, they are so neat and organized that everything just looks great. Some contractors will trash our house while doing something, and these guys are just fabulous and really easy to work with. The first time, the price was well over $1000. I am very happy with the windows; they look beautiful.

The reps and workers were very professional and patient, providing all the information and answering questions as needed. During installation, care was taken to protect furnishings and the area was cleaned up before they left.

We solicited estimates from 4 companies. Pete was on time for all appointments and very communicative during the bidding process. Since we were replacing aluminum windows, Pete pointed out that the new windows would sit differently in the existing steel frames and the sills would be deeper on the inside. He also took the time to show us how the windows would look from the outside with the built-in fiberglass trim. Pete was very patient with us as we took our time picking out an exterior color.

Reglaze was very easy to work with - Pete listened to what we were looking for and provided multiple options. He also proactively provided recommendations and advice. Wayne and Craig were punctual each day during the installation and typically wrapped up by late afternoon. They worked around our 2 small children and 100 lb dog very considerately. They were remarkably quiet during installation which was helpful as I typically work from a home office. All 3 guys were very friendly and took the time to explain everything they did.

Detailed oriented - Wayne built custom wood framing around the interior that helped the windows blend into the frame. He also consulted with us on what color to use for the outside sealant so that the seal would blend in with our grout color and the detailed window trim would stand out.

Very clean - Wayne and Craig cleaned up each night and were very careful around the house, which was impressive because most of the windows were installed from the inside and there were several things that had to be moved.

Reasonably priced - Reglaze wasn't the lowest bid we received, and we also had to wait a bit longer for installation - but they were competitively priced (4 bids) and very helpful during the bidding/design process. Pete took the time to really walk through our ideas and offer his own.

High quality work - we are very impressed with the new Migard Ultra windows and the work Reglaze did. It's much quieter in our house now and our energy bills have dropped. The window choice and quality installation significantly improved the and quot;curb appealand quot; of our 1940s brick home.

Reglaze is a small, local company - the owners do everything - bidding, ordering and installation. That definitely made a difference for us - they obviously had a vested interest in making sure things were done right and it showed. We had a level of trust with Reglaze that we were looking for - we felt no pressure during the sales process and wanted to work with a local company with a long history in the business.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Reglaze and would highly recommend them.

From start to finish our experience with Reglaze was wonderful. Pete came out to give us a bid and was incredibly nice. We had many estimates from other companies and Pete seemed to be the most honest and straightforward person out of all of them. He gave us a quote which we found to be less than others we had received. We had to schedule out 2 months but they were worth the wait.

The two men who installed the windows ( I hate that I forgot their names) were incredibly nice and professional. I stay at home with 2 children and felt completely comfortable having them in my home. They were clean, professional and really easy to talk with and have in my home. My son who is 3 followed them around asking all sorts of never ending why questions and they were very kind to him.

The windows look great and they even helped me to rehang some blinds that my husband had hung up wrong. I didn't even have to ask them to do it they just did it to be helpful.

Reglaze is a top notch company who I feel comfortable referring any friends and family to. They were well priced, friendly and professional.

I got only two estimates and went with Reglaze because Pete "got" us and what we wanted. Very easy to work with. We have a 1917 Craftsman and wanted to replace several highly inefficient and ugly 60's-era aluminum single-pane windows. Pete was suggesting low-cost options and we had to tell him we'd spend more to get windows that worked with the house, both color and trim, and for sound insulation. Installation crew was on time, was in and out almost before we knew it, and cleaned up well after themselves. I had a couple follow-up questions about the bathroom window (was "surprised" and disappointed about aspects of the sill and window depth) which were promptly answered to my satisfaction. We were extremely happy with the bedroom windows. I'd use them again and definitely recommend them to others.

I solicited estimates from three companies. All were picked from Angie's list and I was comfortable with all three companies. The Reglaze estimate was not the lowest but I liked the windows presented and I felt that the given estimate was fair. Work was done over three days and although the removal of two of the windows presented some problems, the results are magnificent. All but a couple of the the windows sills needed to be sawed and sanded to accommodate the new windows thicker frame. All rooms where this work happened were masked off so that all the sawdust was contained. After each of these window were finished all sawdust and all mess was cleaned up. When each room was finished the new window was the only evidence that the room had been visited. I am happy with the workmanship and with the finished product and I look forward to the energy savings these new windows will provide. They have also improved the look of my home in my estimation. I have four more windows that I will upgrade later and I will call Reglaze to do the work when that time comes.

They showed up on schedule, and replaced all the windows in 4 days. They did the work correctly the first time. One window was cracked, and they had the window manufacturer replaced without our asking. Pete is the salesman and the main contact. He was easy to work and communicate with. He kept us abreast of work as it progressed.

Took about 5 weeks from bid until completion of work. All people involved were courteous, professional and friendly. There was no 'hard sell' and knowledge of the business was evident. Overall, felt I could trust what they were saying. Every aspect of job was very well done. They are representative of the smaller local companies who will do the job better for a lower price that you can find on Angie's list.

It took about a month to setup the dates for installation. The job took two days with about four people working on the job. The woodwork on the aprons and stools was done well. At first the thickness of the wood was not what we wanted and they were quick to replace with thicker wood. They would have gotten an "A" for quality except that some of the wood that was cut was left in our front yard. Aside from this everything was top notch. I would highly recommend Reglaze if you are considering vinyl replacements.

First of all, I was very impressed with Pete's knowledge of applicable building codes according to the kind of windows I needed installed. It was a clear indication that he cared about his customer's safety. Additionally, I needed a window with a special color exterior to maintain the uniformity of my condo building. They had no problem making sure that the windows matched perfectly. The installation process went smooth. The team was on time, and they went above and beyond to clean-up after themselves. I would definately refer this company to others and hire this company again myself. Thank you ReGlaze!

Exceptional. I did a tremendous amount of research (manufacturers, restoration, replacement and contractors) and received bids from (5) companies. Reglaze had the most competitive bid plus they were friendly, professional and had excellent reviews on Angie's List. I also liked that it was a smaller, non-corporate company. After much deliberation, I ultimately decided to install Milgard Ultra Fiberglass windows because of their strength, durability and the SDL on the top sash most closely replicated the original windows. I couldn't be happier with my decision. This experience exceeded my expectations. Reglaze is professional and meticulous. They completed the project on time. In addition, Reglaze provided all the required paperwork for the different rebates, as well as the energy tax credit.

I am very satisfied with the work performed and the entire bidding and project completion process. The Angies list of available contractors helped me quickly narrow down to 4 bidders. Reglaze was the lowest bidder and Pete represented his company very well in the bidding process. The installation crew (Wayne, Craig, and Walt) were excellent, worked very well together. Each worker had well defined responsiblities in the installation process and also adapted well to change as the installation process continued. They were very willing to answer my questions during the installation process. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to replace windows in their home.

They arrived and startred work when they said they would, and stayed on the job until they finished (in 3 days.) The work involved cutting the wood frames, making lots of saw dust; the cleanup was perfect. They noted several defects and informed us of them, and arranged for the manufacturer to come make repairs. (This involved two windows with a scratch, and a defective latch.) This repair also was done on time, as scheduled.

We made calls to several companies and it seemed that most of them wanted to replace our doors and not just the glass. We are very satisfied with the doors, which are wooden, and did not want new ones. Once we decided to use this contractor, the glass was ordered (it took about 2+ weeks for it to be made). When it was available, it was installed. This company was very good about communicating with us.

We contacted Reglaze after reading their ratings on Angie's list when searching for a window installer. We had already discussed our project with several other installers and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and the prices to expect. Pete with Reglaze discussed our project with us thoroughly and had a very good understanding of what we wanted before he started making recommendations on styles, types, etc. This willingness to listen and incorporate our ideas into the best solution for our needs confirmed our decision to go with Reglaze. The project took two days to replace 16 windows in our 1929 home that had a mixture of different window styles from over the years. The installation crew showed up on time, and as scheduled, completed the installation in two days. One window didn't fit do to a mis-order or mis-shipment, not sure, but it didn't matter since Reglaze quickly reordered at their expense and had the correct window installed within 2 weeks. The installation crew was clean and did a great job, but most of all they were very respectful of my family and home. This was a great experience and I highly recommend Reglaze to anyone looking for a window installer. They were also the lowest bid.

The estimate experience was great; Pete was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The company I had an estimate from before was a high pressure, used car experience and this was a wonderful contrast. The work performed was professionally done and was accomplished quickly, and we are very satisfied with the results. Early on I did have one concern that there might be problems because not only did they have the lowest bid, but by a significant amount. My concerns were unfounded. I would definitely recommend this company.
