We finally found someone who understood our system. The boiler fan was replaced and we had heat . We were really pleased.

I've used them for 20 years. They've been like 60 years in the city; a long time. I haven't compared their price with anyone else. I'm happy with them and I'm willing to pay what they charge. They've also installed a water heater and they replaced my furnace. We've been here 30 years so they put a new furnace in 10 years ago and replaced the water heater maybe 5 years ago. They've come for furnace service maybe 4 times in the last 20 years.

They just called that morning and said they had an opening, so we had them come out. Just continued good service. We've used them for over 25 years. They're nice people and they always do good work.

I have been using them for three years. They have just been around for a long time. When they send somebody out, they seem like they are very competent and thorough and that is all I can say about them. I don’t use anybody else. I don’t have any complaints about them. The few times that I have called them, when something has happened like in the winter when we have had a problem, they send somebody right away.

Communication with the office was clear and went smoothly. The technician was diligent and pleasant despite the fact that he had trouble getting the pipe to seal properly to the pump at first. He found a solution and completed the job. It took extra time beyond what expected and they were fair with the final charge. Luckily they were able to get a technician out within a couple hours because I was without heat.

We've installed Triangle Tube Prestige boiler in 2009 when we built our house.  After only 5 years, it started acting up and stopped working unless we press a reset switch.  I called four different companies, some of whom tried to repair and others said it's not worth repairing and we should buy a new system for $8000 to $9000.  Since it wasn't completely broken, we decided to live with it until it's completely done.
After 8 months, it stopped working more frequently and I started back on my search for the right contractor.  It was the same thing again, most contractors told me to buy a new and better one.  And finally came across Reed Wright, who told me it's crazy to think about buying a new one when this boiler is only 6 years old.  Elaine on the phone ensured me Triangle Tube is a good company and while it may take a several try, it will get fixed.  I wanted someone to come as soon as possible, but it was their busy season and I was placed on waiting list since my boiler is still somewhat working.  After about a week, Elaine called and said someone can come over that day.
Brian came to look at the problem.  He talked to Triangle Tube company before arriving and told me our error code could mean many number of things and he'll start fixing from the least expensive portion to see if that works.  I agreed to it.  Unfortunately, it didn't work.  He came back twice more.  The third time around, he really fixed it!!!  It's been over two months and there's been no problem.  We saved $7000 by trusting in Reed Wright and not buying a new system like others suggested.
In addition, soon after the boiler got fixed our wine cooler system broke down (this system is unrelated to the boiler).  Since wine cooler is a specialized area, we had another company planned on installing a new system.  However, for some reason they backed down on us.  Not knowing who to ask, I called Reed Wright again.  This time I talked to Tim.  He told me that he knows how to install it, but is too busy.  He called around and found me a right contractor.   It turned out to be his competitor, but he didn't care as long as he knows I get a good service.
I believe, Brian, Tim and Elaine are the owners of this company.  I'm thoroughly impressed with their honesty and customer service.  Their fee is not the cheapest, but the quality of the service provided is exceptional that I can not think of using any other company.

When I called in October to request a routine inspection and cleaning, I was told that I should have called in the spring, and they would not schedule the service. They said they would work me in when they could but their priority was customers with no heat. This was in mid October when we had mild temperatures. I said OK, call me. One day a week or two later, I got a call saying a technician was in my area and they could do the inspection if they could come right now. I said OK and the technician arrived in ten or 15 minutes. The technician seemed professional, did the routine service, and told me he thought my old furnace was in good shape and would last another season or longer. I asked him if he could install a switch to operate the blower motor separately from the furnace. He said it turned out to be a simple job and did this. He left after about an hour, could have been as much as an hour an 15 minutes but no longer. I got a statement billing me for 2.25 hours. When I called and told them I thought there was a mistake, I was told no, they checked the time sheets and this was a reasonable time for the job. I was here and I know how long the technician was here, and it wasn't 2.25 hours, even including the 15 min. travel time from the previous job. They refused to make an allowance. Overcharging for time is the pattern for this firm based on my limited experience with them. I called them once previously when my furnace would not ignite. The technician came, said the ignitor was bad, and told me that although they usually carried them on the truck but this time he didn't have one. He left and returned an hour later with a new ignitor and completed the repair. On that occasion, I received a statement charging me for the time he was here, plus the hour he was away while getting the ignitor. I paid the billed amount but protested that it was not fair that I should pay for time to get a part routinely stocked on the truck, and a part that I would likely need based on problem I reported when I called. On that occasion they agreed and issued me a refund. The technician was knowledgeable and professional, they corrected the error in billing which I thought was just an honest mistake, and I felt from that experience that this was an honest and reputable company. Based on my more recent experience I no longer believe this. I was once again charged for excessive time, and as a result the amount I paid for the service was unreasonable. The fact that I was here and knew how much time the job took was of no concern to them. I will be replacing this old furnace in the next one to three years, and I will not be troubling this firm with my business in the future.

I have a hot water heating system with a gas boiler.  When the gas burner stopped working in November, I called the gas company, who had serviced a previous leased unit.  Puget Sound Energy took a while to come, and when they did diagnosed the problem but failed to call me to get repair authorized. I then contacted Reed Wright, which specializes in hot water heating.  They made the repair for the same price the gas company had estimated.

I had been unable find the correct size filter at Lowes. They brought the correct on with them and the price of the filter was competitive.

These guys(and gal, Elaine!) were fantastic.  I sent an e-mail through their website and Tim responded quickly.  I called the office to schedule an appointment.   Elaine tried to fit me in as soon as she could.  She kept in contact with me a got scheduled that afternoon.  The service tech( sorry I can remember his name) promptly showed up and went to work.  You could tell right away that he knew what he was doing and quickly diagnosed the problem, search for and found the part needed.  He came back the next day to install.  The best thing about Reed Wright is that they are independent their first priority is try to fix and not try and sell you a new furnace.  Most furnace businesses are also furnace dealers and always push new furnace even if you don't need one.  So beware!!!

Responded early Monday morning to telephone message left on Sunday evening. Serviceman arrived before 11 am Monday. Located problem, replaced part, serviced furnace. Job done professionally, pleasantly, promptly. This firm has provided excellent furnace service at my home for a number of years and I highly recommend it.

Elaine was a life saver.  Not only did she sense my urgency to get hot water back in the house, but she recognized that I have a high demand job that requires me to be in the office...not waiting all day for a repair man.  She gave me a call when they were to arrive so I could meet them.  Not only that but since the part needed was under warranty, she processed the paperwork so I would not have to pay for the part, only the labor.  I did not even ask her to do this, she took initiative to help me out.
The guys that fixed it were great, however Elaine put the entire experience over the top and was the game changer for me to write this review.  I would use Reed Wright again and again....but here is hoping I won't need to.

Cleaned and serviced a furnace that had not been serviced in at least 10
years. They were really great about the work, very fair and did a great
job. In fact we could not get the thermostat to work and they fixed it
no charge. They are terrific and I would recommend them any time.
