RCC

Price was right.
Had some quality issues during wall insulation install. Sheetrock on some walls cracked/began bursting. Potentially as a result of old/substandard sheetrock. 
Viktor, the owner, made a QA visit to ensure that everything would be repaired to our satisfaction. Everything was fixed to our satisfaction immediately - very professional.
Overall, happy with the outcome given the price.

Badly. RCC came out in November of 2007 and installed 3 windows in the rainiest part of the year and all 3 of them leaked into the house. I went outside and looked at them and there was a 1/2" gap all along the top of the bathroom window with no caulking or weatherproofing of any kind. Just a bare gap. None of the windows had flashing. The windows were not installed plumb and level. One of the windows has a bow in the top as if it's been forced into place. There were large holes in the siding around the windows and siding was buckling and damaged. I doubt RCC properly insulated and weatherproofed the window between frame and house but I can't prove that without taking the window out. I called RCC and complained and was told someone would be out the next day. No one showed up or called. After repeated calls to RCC I gave up and filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. It was only then that RCC returned our calls. In March, 4 months after the installation, Victor finally came out to look. He admitted the windows looked bad. He promised us he would take the windows out of the frame and reinstall them properly as they looked so bad. 2 guys came out the following week. They were supposed to arrive at 8am so my wife got the day off work. They arrived at 3pm and said they would only have time to replace shingles around the window. They replace a few shingles and left. Meanwhile, Victor said RCC was doing a large job elsewhere and that's why it was hard for someone to do our job. The next day Victor said the guy had pneumonia. Now, the worker spoke with us and was in fine health, not coughing or acting ill. A person doesn't get pneumonia overnight. So, after many calls to RCC again, we got sent out the 2 untrained guys that screwed our windows and siding up to begin with. All they did was install flashing on the top part of the window frames and replace the shingles they damaged.. improperly. They simple cut and nailed cedar shingles to the house without overlapping them underneath the top layer of shingles for proper rainproofing. When we told Victor they didn't take the old windows out to ensure they were done right inside the frame (weatherproof, insulate, shim for plumb and level etc.) he said he'd never said they'd do that. When I asked if they were going to even paint the shingles they damaged and replaced he said they didn't do that. We have left our BBB report pending because they suggested we report RCC to L & I and start the small claims court process.

Overall they did a great job, we were very happy with the completed work.

The workers arrived on time and worked steadily. They were friendly & knew what they were doing, though they taped & insulated over the furnace filter sections, and left insulation litter over the yard & under the house.
