Thang and his work crew are wonderful hard working honest people. That was the first thing we appreciate about them. The new oak installation matches the existing oak floor and they wove the new floors into the old so we have one continuous floor throughout them main level of our home and up the stairs. The finished work is absolutely beautiful. They also offered the best price quote and were willing to weave the new floor into the existing one that none of the other companies would do. We are so happy with this company and their magnificent work.

After 13 years of use, Thang and his crew brought my floors back to life. They are beautiful and shine just like when they were initially installed. I would use them for any hardwood project.

Awesome Experience!!! Needed floors redone within a 2 week time frame....I closed a house on Aug 30 and needed to do the floors and have it painted before moving in. By chance I was matched up with Premier Hardwood Floors on Angie's List. Thang called because one of his clients pushed back his project. Lucky me. Thang came and gave me a bid, was very confident he could make my floors of a house built in 1915 that had been a rental look good. He came out, the first day he sanded living room, dining room, 13 stairs, and 2 bedrooms. Next day put 3 coats of Swedish Finish. I went to see it and it was beyond what I thought could be done. There was about a 3 ft. area in the living room that was patchy and moved. I knew it couldn't look perfect, but he worked with it and made it look better than I could have imagined. I very highly recommend them. I feel like I'm getting a great start on my new home because of them. I was nervous because I booked at the last minute and was desperate to get work done. Knowing what they can do, even if you have to wait in line to get them to do your floors, my advise would be to wait. You won't be able to find better. The entire experience working with Thang was second to none! He came highly recommended to us by our daughter and son-in law as he did a large installation job for them that turned out beautiful, within budget, on time and very competitive pricing. From the time of our initial call, he was over to our home in 48 hours unlike the two other contractors we called. Not only did he measure for our new installation project, but he repaired two areas that were lifting and you cannot even tell where the repair work was done. He is a master. Later that night we received the quote and were very happy with the final price. We look forward to working with him on our large project as he truly is a professional and takes great pride in his work.

Thank and his team are amazing! We have used Premier Hardwoods for over 50 houses that we have renovated. Over and over again the floors have turned out stunningly beautiful. He offers different color stains, and does repairs of damaged floors. I even used him for my own house and happily recommend him to everyone I can. You will love the finished results!!

I first heard about Premier Hardwood from a coworker. She recently hired Premier to refinish the hardwoods in her home, and they came out beautiful. When my husband and I purchased our home, and found hardwoods under our carpet, we knew we would call Premier. Thang and his team at Premier Hardwood did an AMAZING job. We had dark stains in our wood and there was a section that needed to be repaired. We weren't sure if we would be able to save our floors. Thang assured us he could make them look beautiful, and he kept his word. Everyone that has seen our floors both, before and after are stunned by how gorgeous they look now. I would absolutely, in a heartbeat, rehire and recommend Premier Hardwood. They are extremely passionate about what they do and it shows.

We will always use and recommend Thang and his team. Thang is an expert in hardwood. He was able to identify that the existing hard wood was red oak, rather than white oak, as another contractor had initially told us. He was very professional, punctual, and friendly. As far as the quality of the floors, they look great! It is virtually indiscernible where the existing and new hardwoods meet. Thang also recommended we do flush wood vents, and boy was he right! They look awesome. When we were choosing the color, we initially chose Espresso, but Thang brought one additional color because he said he felt good about it from what we had described that we wanted. They swatched both colors for us on the wood (twice so both my husband and I could see it). Again, he totally nailed it. The Jacobean color is absolutely perfect. I could not be happier. We also decided mid-project to remove some walls to open up the dining room and living room space. Thang was very accommodating when we weren't sure if it was going to impact the schedule. We ended up being able to keep the same schedule, but it was very nice to have such an easy partner to work with. Finally, Thang has been amazing in the follow up. We scratched the floor in the midst of all the renovations, and ended up with drill holes from our cabinets being drilled into the wrong spot. Thang and his team fixed it all promptly and generally have been so great to work with. He even stopped by to bring us some extra stain and finishing spray in case we need to do additional touch ups in the future. I highly recommend Thang and Premier Hardwood Floors for any hardwood projects. He is a class act and really knows his stuff. Thank you, Thang! Also, I've uploaded some photos that show the original floors (man, that tile was awful), the weaving of the new and old hardwoods, and before and after staining the wood. These really are my dream floors!

It was done quickly, on time, without issue and exceeded our dream.

On November 19th, Thang and his crew, refinished our wood floors but provided no form of ventilation, nor did they seal the front door to our condo unit. Its worth noting, we were never informed beforehand that scent would be a significant issue, in fact he didn't mention it at all. Because they did not ventilate or seal the unit, the toxic fumes had nowhere to go but in the hallway and into the other 13 units in the condominium, and this resulted in Carbon Monoxide detectors going off in the building.  Now we are faced with a large professional ventilation bill that Premiere Hardwoods wont pay.
On top of everything else, the quality of the work was unacceptable. After his crew left shoe marks embedded in the sealant, he asked if we were going to pay to have a new seal put on. In addition, there are countless areas on the floor which were not stained so overall a very spotty job.

This process took a few days longer then we expected but they did a really nice job when everything was done. there wed only two guys working almost the entire time. We have a really large entry way witch is the combination of dinning room and living room. So the job did take longer then what they they expected.

Premier was highly recommended to my by my next door neighbors.  Thang was very professional with the estimate for the project, and Premier's estimate for three coats of Swedish finish was less than the estimate for TWO coats of finish provided by the contractor my real estate agent recommended! I was able to schedule the work at a time convenient for me.   They also took care of nailing down some segments of flooring that were loose.  When Thang came over to check out the results with me I pointed out a few areas that weren't quite right, and he promptly offered to have the crew come back over to apply a fourth coat to the entire floor, at no additional cost. The finished floors are spectacular - I wouldn't have thought it was possible to have them look so good.

The bid was very competitive and we were comfortable with the price, but did not move forward initially due to scheduling. Six months later, as we were ready to refinish the floor, I recieved an email telling me that due to the slow economy, Premier was willing to offer a discount on the job. I called, and they looked up the bid, and infomred me it was already discounted as much as they could do. I'm not one to beat people up on price, because I find that it leads to shoddy work, and since I was already comfortable with the existing price, we moved forward when he offered to lower the price the cost of the taxes I would pay. We had the work done while we were gone over the christmas holiday. When we returned, I asked for a few touch ups that were performed satisfactorily. I signed off on the job. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, we noticed that there is a sloight "waviness" in our floor. I had signed off on the work, and our floor is 70 years old, I don't want to take more wood off the top. The bottom line is that I never called to ask them to refinish the areas I'm not 100% happy with. Overall, the experience was good, but the work is not "A" level, and therefore I cant recommend them. If I had it to do over again, I would have had the work done while I was in town, and done a better job of moitoring each step.

Thang was able to present a formal quote with detail breakdown of the work on the spot - very efficient. The price is very competitive. The crew worked very hard, especially the two experienced installers. They even helped moved some of the larger pieces of furniture before starting the project.

Crew very nice, easy to work with. Very thorough and complete, punctual. Accommodating to my schedule to come back and do third coat at another time. Floors look beautiful.
