PRECISION CONSTRUCTION AND CONCRETE

What I needed done was a very small job. It was a challenge to find a contractor who would perform a job of this size, but Mr. Robinson said that he could do it if I could be flexible with my schedule. He was engaged on a much larger job at the time, and he explained that mine would be a matter of fitting it in on a weekend when he was free. This was OK with me. For estimates and for the work, he showed up on time and was a pleasure to work with. His style tends toward the informal side, with an estimate on a business card, but his communication, punctuality, and quality of work were excellent. His bid was the best of the ones I received with the added bonus of his being the most pleasant to work with. The bid he gave me was all inclusive--it included concrete removal, labor, hauling, basic color tinting, construction signs and yellow tape to redirect pedestrian traffic, and picking up the signs on the following day. He and a worker showed up on time, removed the broken sidewalk section and replaced it with a new section clearly marked for pedestrians. I was very impressed with his work, my neighbors complimented it, and I would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Robinson was very professional. He showed up when he said he would, he did the job he said he would. His bid included everything, unlike another bid I got that did not include the cost of the concrete! His workers were fast and efficient at breaking up and hauling away the old concrete, and his crew was amazing at putting in the new concrete. The area was not ideal for an easy replacement since one edge was against an existing stone wall, but the sidewalk came out beautifully. They cleaned up everything and got the job done on time despite curious crows, cats and clueless neighbors all walking in the freshly finished concrete!

It's a good, local small business and James was very responsive to my particular needs.
