We have a Avalon 32DVS Insert originally installed in 1999.  Service in 2009 was first for Pinnacle.  It took two visits to complete the service as the first inspection revealed, according to the condescending mechanic, that the unit had been installed incorrectly. After some research and a somewhat extended period trying to set up another visit we found that the mechanic was wrong.  Through the whole experience the mechanic was not terribly customer friendly offering no apology for jacking us around due to his ignorance of our unit.
Against my better judgement I recently called to schedule another service figuring that at lease the service provider would have records of our last visit hopefully avoiding another round of the tribulations of service providers suffering the pain of dealing with customers.  The phone work was unprofessional, the message essentially being, "call us back when you can find your previous invoice number."  So I did, they found the previous work, had scheduling issues and would call back to finalize scheduling.  No call back.....I gave up and called Bellevue Fireplace where the difference in phone work was night and day.
