Our friends recommended Diane as she helped them get their house and she was really great - we did not have a big budget and had lots of requirements (areas, size, etc) but she helped us find the perfect house.  It was a short sale, which we thought would take much longer, but she helped us close very quickly (as fast or faster than non-short!).  She really went the extra mile - she explained everything to us, drove us to look at many houses, and helped us through the whole process.  I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house.

I was so impressed by Diane Coyne's integrity and skill that I'm writing my first Angie's List review about Diane Coyne and Picket Fence Real Estate, 8 years after I used her services! As a first-time buyer, I didn't know much about the home buying process, and I feel incredibly glad I chose Diane to help me. I bought my condo in 2003, a time when banks were eager to lend more than borrowers could afford. Diane earned my absolute respect and gratitude by gently and politely suggesting that I *not* purchase a "fixer" home that would have been a struggle for me to afford, even though this meant she earned a 40% smaller commission on the sale. Yep. Diane chose to earn 40% less in order to do the right thing for her client. I am deeply indebted to her for that advice. Each time I hear a news story about an unfortunate person who bought more house than they could afford, I thank Diane Coyne. 

Diane also has an uncanny matchmaking sense. In the brief time we had been looking at homes together, Diane developed a strong sense of my personal style and lifestyle needs. Instead of the "fixer" home in a far-flung neighborhood, Diane showed me a beautiful condo I had overlooked in my online search because its square footage was listed incorrectly. She had seen this condo in person and knew that the online photos didn't do it justice. She also knew I would love its vintage charm, and I immediately did. I was thrilled to later learn, when my neighbors told me what they'd paid for their units, that I'd gotten a tremendous deal. I have been living in the condo for eight years and loving it.
