Great company to work with. They really care about ensuring their customers' happiness. They communicate well, kept me apprised of timeline/progress and were very responsive to my requests. They were very detail oriented and made sure I was happy with the work before they wrapped things up. Would definitely hire again.

Phinney Ridge Painting helped us renew the exterior of our Fremont Craftsman for its next 100 years. It needed carpentry in eaves and trim, new gutters, and careful prep, not just the paint itself. Managing multiple sub-contractors well is one of their strengths. Everyone on the team was great to work with. In a very busy summer, our turn for paint came up in October, and they dodged cold showers to get us done. A crew just came out (in May 2021) to do any touch-ups, and I was impressed with the thoroughness of their inspection, and the little details they attended to. Every time I look at our house in it's fresh new colors, I get a lift.

We hired Phinney Ridge Painting to paint the exterior of our home after considering bids from several painting companies. Their bid was not the cheapest, but we were impressed by owner Nik Palladino's knowledge about early 20th-century wood homes, his commitment to their care, and the thoughtful, detailed proposal he made for the job. The people at the company were never short of fully professional, courteous, and helpful. Before painting, they called our attention to gutter issues that needed to be addressed. They navigated the challenges of summer 2020 pandemic and wildfires, and were finally able to get us onto their calendar in November. The preparation to paint was meticulous, with careful paint-shaving and sanding and immaculate daily clean-up, and they took advantage of rainy days to do the pressure washing. The painting process itself went utterly smoothly. They were careful about making sure that we understood every step along the way, and promptly took care of a couple of minor elements that needed fixing at the end. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the workmanship and the friendly, professional service Phinney Ridge provided. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The work was excellent. The prep work was done quickly. Painting was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown orders, but once restrictions had lifted, Israel and his crew were in touch and back on site to finish up the job.

Adriane and his crew from Phinney Ridge Painting excelled in our exterior house repainting/staining/"tuning". They expertly exercised the utmost attention to detail and perfection in every aspect of the job and continuously checked with us to assure that it was as planned/desired. The quality of preparation and finishing was exceptional. In particular, the particular care the crew took to prevent/minimize any damage to plantings and other sensitive areas around the house was exceptional. We would certainly recommend Phinney Ridge Painting to anyone who seeks comparable quality and attention to their house project.

This is the third time we have used Phinney Ridge Painting. This was a small project, painting the den in our home. Communication was excellent. Sam came out when he said he would, and was prompt in sending us the estimate. Falco, who has done all three projects in our home, is conscientious and professional. He arrived on time, worked hard, was flexible, left the space neat and clean, and even dealt kindly with our loud dogs. He is very personable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Phinney Ridge Painting, and I'm sure we will have the opportunity to work with them in the future.

Phinney Ridge is great. We worked with Nik, Sam and lead painter Jason and two more junior painters, Gabriel (exterior) and Christian (interior). They do great work. It is particularly noticeable in the relative time they spend prepping (a lot) and then the care to detail and accuracy in the painting. They spend time cleaning-up each day so the property was livable. The carpenters (Vince, Robby and David) are skillful and do good, careful and accurate work. The painters and carpenters have a lot of experience so we valued their input on things like color and where repairs that may not have been visible at the outset should be done.

An outstanding experience. A diligent and talented crew. Flawless workmanship. The site was left tidy at the end of each day. The entire project proceeded smoothly and without interruptions. I'll be back!

I called Phinney Ridge since they had painted the outside of my house a few years back. I must say that I was scheduled *last* year, and they never got to my job. This year when the weather turned decent, I once again was on the schedule. They came through well. They sent Falco out and his work was fantastic! He was intensely picky on how things were done. He did a few things extra for me and it was much appreciated. He is the man to come to your home for interior work. He was professional, pleasant and cared very much about his work. Thank you Falco!

This is my second time using Phinney Ridge Painting - both times with the same painter, Falco. Sam was prompt with the estimate, and all communication. Falco was extremely reliable, arriving on time each day, cleaning up afterwards, asking for my feedback to make sure I was satisfied. He's simply an excellent painter who clearly takes great pride in his work. I am extremely satisfied with Phinney Ridge Painting and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We are very happy with our recent project with Phinney Ridge Painting. Our project was handled by Mike and James from the small jobs team. Their attention to detail and focus on quality was outstanding! They were also very friendly and coordinated well with us. We had a misunderstanding in the type of paint we'd selected, but they took plenty of time to explain the problem and guide us to the right choice for our project. We couldn't be happier with the results!

Hands down a great overall experience! I would hire them to do everything if I could. The project manager, Sam was a great communicator and handled the project seamlessly so that I didn't need to sweat anything. Their painters (and carpenters) are VERY detailed, and highly skilled. If I had any questions/issues, they would fix or explain the details. They went above-and-beyond on painting my house and rebuilding my porch, it was worth every cent. Looks SO GOOD! I would hire them again for sure.

The painting and carpentry work turned out beautifully. The whole process ran very smoothly, the workspace was left neat and orderly at the end of each day, and all of the personnel I met were very nice and easy to work with. The folks from Phinney Ridge Painting did an excellent job painting our house exterior. Their carpenters, Marty & Nate, were very thorough with the carpentry work in replacing the siding and fascia boards. Vinny & Dustin did most of the painting and worked through some really wet weather (in November/December), doing a great job overall. It was clear that they all take a great deal of pride in their work and are consummate professionals. We would highly recommend PRP for painting projects.

They were on time, prompt, polite, the gentemen were diligent, and answered questions when I asked.

I just completed a deck and porch staining project with Phinney Ridge and I'm very happy with how it turned out and Sam and Mike's commitment to getting it right. This project was a long and winding road so to speak and it took a lot of patience and an exceptional amount of work on Phinney Ridge's part but they took the time to make sure it was what I wanted and the final product looks fantastic.

I contacted Phinney Ridge Painting in June 2017 and got placed on their small project calendar. After a minor administrative snafu that delayed my project , Phinney Ridge Painting was able to come out to do the work in August 2017. It took a week to complete the work that Shaun (and I believe others) did and it was excellently executed. I plan to use them again the next time my deck needs some TLC!

When we decided to have our house repainted we knew it would be a big deal. The house was built in 1921 and the original paint was lead based and badly peeling. We contacted four companies for estimates and consultations, only three replied. We chose Phinney Ridge Painting LLC (they were the middle of the bidding range) because Nik (the owner and estimator) spent time to describe to us how the work would be done and why the lead paint had to be completely stripped from the house. Along with having the house painted, we were also having our old rotted deck replaced and four windows replaced too. This created a scheduling issue for getting all the work done during the three months of summer and into early autumn. Phinney Ridge Painting [PRP] worked very well in conjunction with our other contractor to complete the work in the timeframe we had allotted. The crews from PRP who did the stripping, priming and painting always arrived early and worked all day. When we greeted them at the house we were always told that we should announce if we had any issues, concerns or questions about the work being done. At the end of each day the crew cleaned up the areas around the house and folded up their drop-cloths. All the work was done to our satisfaction and the house looks wonderful now. We recommend that you consider PRP for your exterior painting needs rather than choosing a lower bidder.

Nic came out and was very helpful looking over the whole job, clarifying all issues, etc., before sending us the bid. Sam saw the job through. They were considerate, communicative, knowledgeable and professional. They did an absolutely beautiful job for a very fair price. We are all happy! I recommend them without reservation.

Went very well. Very careful three man crew and general manager who were all very responsive to our needs and our concerns. Very thorough masking and covering of vulnerable areas and thorough clean-up every day and at job's end. You might find a cheaper price but we feel we made a good choice. Recommended.
